What the hell happened back there...?

He woke up earlier than usual. He washed up and got changed before meeting with Skye and Fitzsimmons in the main area of the bus.The three of the bus kids were playing a bored game to pass time as Simmons phone beeped and her calm facial expression broke into a smile.
"Guess, she wanted to wake up? Didn't she?" Jemma muttered with a very confused Skye and Fitz until they May came into mind.
"Oh, she's awake?" Skye asked excitedly.
"Yeah, bettere go check on her." Jemma says before stopping slighting and turning at the specialist who ate cereal while sitting in the small arm chair getting lost in his thoughts.
"Agent Ward?" She says breaking his silence of thoughts. He looks up at the young girl and she just smiled an assuring smile. He finally catches on.
Jemma goes into the medbay to see May sitting up and messing with her bandages around her arms. She had gotten strange bruises and scars from whatever happened in the room and she had a few bruises in her face as well.
"Agent May, glad to see you awake." Jemma says checking her vitals which may didn't seem to mind as first but then the rapid beeping sound got her annoyed that she reached over to turn in off herself and Jemma apologize about it.
"Well, better than being dead I guess..." May mutters as she spots The rest of them in the small crowded room.
"Oh, Hey.." May replays to them until she feels a sharp pain in her shoulder. Simmons just stuck a needle in.
"Hey May, How are you feeling?" Skye asks the older women sitting in a chair.
"I'm fine, other than Simmons just stabbed a needle into my shoulder." She says normally at first but then sharply to the fact of the small pain from the bruise and needle making sharp contact.
"Sorry, should've warned you." Jemma says placing the small tube on the tray.
"What'd you do that for?" May asks
"Blood, need to make sure nothing is wrong with you." Jemma says calmly as the others start to leave the room. Leaving Her,Fitzsimmons and Ward.
May stops in her tracks. Blood test...She knows that if Simmons took her blood she'd find out about her being Inhuman. But she didn't get what or how she was Inhuman. Some Inhumans where given worthy or redeemed worthy of a gift like that. It was that or they had the gene and it wa inside them. May didn't have any Inhuman gene in her...well...she thought about it for a while as she just nodded crashing back into then pillow on the small bed.
Fitzsimmons left leaving her and Ward alone.
He walked over sitting in the arm chair Skye as sin earlier.
The two didn't speak for a long while, letting the comfort of the silence fall between them both.
It's only until 10 minutes later that She speaks up.
"Ward..." she says softly looking at him. His hand caressing her small one.
He doesn't answer but looks up at her instead.
"What...What happened back there....?" He suddenly blurts out looking at her refusing to break eye contact.
She stays quite for a moment remembering the exact moments when she thought she was going to die.
She's the one who breaks the eye contact and looks away lying to him.
"I don't recall..." She lies to him in perfect tone. She was taught to lie, that's for sure. To act and to be someone who you're not when you have to be.
He sighs before getting up and leaving the small room. Leaving her in the silence as she pleased it.
A few moments pass by before May grabs the water bottle from the desk by her right side and the water suddenly freezes inside the bottle.
Solid ice.
It turned into solid ice. May looked at it sitting up in alarm. This was no mistake, she was now infact and Inhuman...
But her only question is how this happened in the first place?
Did she have Inhuman genes?
Or was she just worthy of having an elemental power?
She had to tell her mom.
She and her mom didn't get along that well but, she had to tell someone she trusted other than Ward or Coulson.
Coulson would've had to put her on the index and contain her for safety and all that.
Ward, he would've had a reaction to it but the n put up with it. She was just slightly afraid of what came after that.
Her mother was different, always was. Even thought she didn't know her for most of her life. It was nice to see her again that one day she went back home.
What would her mother think?
She's Inhuman...
