~What If...~ (Part 1)

This is both a mix of the Toxic AU and the normal one!

May regrets a lot of things in her life. Bahrain, leaving her cubicle, well sorta. But got the point.

But this?

This was the most thing she'd ever regret right now..

She woke up in a room, tied to a chair. Her kidnapper hadn't shown themselves yet. May knew the person was behind her but why didn't she react on impact? She had a cloth around her mouth and tied from the back. She shook her self in the chair, it was chained to the floor. Lucky her.

Her, Ward and Skye where sent on  a mission to retrieve the Inhuman who had been killing humans in impact and randomly. They killed way to many. Suddenly a man's she voice could be heard from the shadows as it spoke up. 

Guess her kidnapper was a male.

How could she let this happen. She a trained agent for god sake.

4 hours earlier....

"Hey, this might be our guy." Skye whispered getting the attention of the two specialist beside her. A image of a guy, brown hair, and blue eyes. May knew him from somewhere, but Shen couldn't place her finger on a name or place from how or if she even knew him.

Ward and her nodded before Skye went back to her computer tapping away.

"May, divided and conquer?" Ward asked looking at May with a very confused Skye beside her.

"Left, right. here in 20." She replied before walking off to the shadows.

"What's divide and conquer?" Skye asked Him as she followed him going left.

"It's a tactic me and May came up with back at the academy. We divide going opposite ways and then met back at the same spot 20 minutes later or so." He whispered before going silent and continuing to crouch down and look around.

Skye just hummed in reply. That was knew, but what made her more interested was that he knew may since the academy. She wanted to ask but didn't and just kept quite until the moment was right.

May look around the area as she hid behind a box, she heard silent footsteps from behind her but somehow her body didn't seem to react into moving away or going towards it and taking them down.

Before she knew it a cloth was around her mouth preventing her from screaming as just muffled noises were only heard. She kicked the person using her leg on their leg which made them jerk back but didn't lose grip off the cloth on her mouth and nose.

Her vision began to become blurry around her and before she knew it was all dark.

She blinked a couple of times before she got knocked out again. Now she wasn't out like a light. She could no longer hear the voices but see nothing but black and darkness in her eyes.

"Where is she?" Ward muttered to himself knowing something was off. He got back to the spot but she was no where to be found

"Maybe she left?" Skye said but she knew better.

"May's an agent not a ditcher." Ward said sternly looking at Skye from behind him crouched low to the ground.

"Something isn't adding up." He said before a spray of shot came from in front of the as he pulled Skye about the way but one bullet managed to him her shoulder. She winced in pain.
