"So cute!" Skye shakes her head with admiration.
Ward smiles lightly looking down as his fingers move slowly on the soft hair, a small pout forms under his touch as so.
"Very cute," Simmons say holding her hands to her chest and Ward could've doubted he saw a tear slide down her cheek. "Cute as a button!" She then adds looking at the small form.
"She looks like a monkey." Fitz then said disrupting the small feeling of love in the air. The comment earns a glare from the specialists as Fitz now fears for his life.
"He means it as a compliment!!" Both Jemma and Skye are quick to solve the small abruption.
"Of course," Fitz says apologizing to him,"I mean this is your kid, She's bloody amazing!" Fitz says with small exclaimes in to not wake the small form up.
"You did good, Ward." Coulson says putting a hand on his shoulder, patting it briefly,"You both did, we're all happy for you truly." Coulson finished with a small at his specialist and the small form.
"Thank you sir" Ward says smiling softly at the small bundle in his arms
He walks back to medbay after that as he slides the door closed slowly. He walks to the sleeping form laying on the bed, and sits beside her silently, trying not to disturb her. The small pink bundle still secured in his arms, he thinks he might just explode from the soft noises and the tiny face from the bundle.
"Ward?" A voice suddenly whispers, moving to turn him
"Hey," He replies,"Its us.." He smiles tenderly at her.
She moves forward on the bed, slowly sitting herself up,"Now that you're done showing her off, can I have my daughter back?" She tries to sound casual but he can hear the happiness in her voice, despite the exhaustion from child birth. He hands her the bundle as he sees her face light up at the sight of thier newborn daughter. He sees the most genuine smile on her face he'd ever seen.
He watches as she caresses the soft hair on the small he's doing of the baby. He puts an arm around her should and places a kiss to her temple
"I love you..." He say silently looking at the small bundle in her arms
She kisses him and it's a sweet soft long kiss they both share before she breaks it,"I love you too..." She replies placing her ehad on his shoulder and looking at the small form. He moves to sit more comfortably in the small medbay bed. He watches as she holds the new addition to the family whispering small words and sentences in Cantonese.
"They liked her?" She then says as it took a few moments to realize what she's trying to ask.
"Yeah..." He smiles as he remembers about 5 hours ago when he walked into the room with the small bundle as they crowded him immediately.
"Skye and Simmons think she's cute, And I think I saw simmons cry. Coulson congratulated the both of us for." He replies stating the things they've said and what he saw.
She hums lightly,"Fitz thinks she looks like a monkey." He says as May's eyes rises and her eyes with a sharp glare and her eyebrows in confusion.
"A Monkey?" She asked casuly aside from still being tired. He now fears for the sciencetist life.
"Well..."He tries to think of an excuse quickly before I took escalates
"Makes sense for him to say that I guess," she says chuckling as it turns intimate a small gasp and smile when a small hand wraps around her finger. Her eyes are glistening with love. He smiles as he reaches down to touch the small hand of the newborn.
Guess there wasn't just two of them anymore, There's a third. Their New addition to the family.
