"This Night, I Want Us To Change..."

He took a deep breath as he then saw the two plan tickets to Australia on his desk. This is going to be perfect..They both need this.

He heard a knock on the door as he then walked over and opened it.

"Oh Hey dais--Why do you have a box full of May's clothes?" He asked as she just walked in without a care in the world setting a box of clothes on the little couch in his office.

"I spent about two hours trying to figure out how to get May to wear a dress or skirt of any sort, Turns out, she is not one to be forced into something and I get this." Daisy says in one breath before lifting her sleeve up showing a bruise and a small cut.

"So I just stole all of her clothes." She finished off referenceing to the box on the small couch. Coulson just looked at her straight in the eye. "O-Kay...Anyway She ready?" He asked her unsurely is she knew the answer to that. Probably did, she just stole all of her clothes.

"Yeah, She is oh and you'll love her outfit by the way!" Daisy walked out the room being a bit giddy. "OH AND DON'T LET HER TOCUH THE CLOTHES, ILL PUT THEM BACK WHEN YOU BOTH LEAVE!" Daisy yelled down the hallway as she then laughed slightly, Her plan was in action, what she didn't know was that Coulson wanted this trip for something special.

He closed the door locking it so no one could come in, walking over to his desk and opening the drawer. He pulled out a small navy blue box, inside it...was a classic silver ring. He wanted something classy for her, he knows she's not much of a fancy person.

He wanted to finally propose to her on this trip.

The only people who knew about it were Elena, Mack, Bobbi, Hunter, And Fitz. Five people he knows he can trust to keep a secret. Daisy would instantly tell every but May, and Simmons is a bad liar. Those two were the only ones who didn't know. They just knew about the trip, Piper and Davis weren't even here, they were given one week to leave to catch up with Their own families. Deke was deke being a clueless puppy

He heard a knock on his door once again, He suspected it was May this time, He put the navy blue box in his suitcase, and closed the box full of May's clothes. He opened the door to May who stood there arms-crossed.

"You ready?" She asked with a small smile, He just kissed her temple," 'course..." He mumbled to her. Her looked around the office 

"Four days Phil, We'll only be gone four days." May chuckled sighting the fact he was looking around the office,"Very funny Melinda" He said sarcastically with a small chuckle at the end.

They left the base in Coulson's Car Lola. Once arriving to the air port and boarding the plan and seated, He was lost in his thoughts while Melinda slept.

Would she say yes?

What if she doesn't like the ring?

He felt kinda stupid for asking these things to himself. This is Melinda he's talking about, But he damn well didn't care who she was, she could've had blonde hair instead of brown hair for all he cared, he just loved her. A sudden image came into his head as Melinda with blonde hair. He then glanced at her who was still peacefully asleep.

after their flight and going through security and collecting their luggage, they drove in Lola to the house Melinda had payed for a long time ago, he doesn't questions why because he knew. Parking into the drive way, They grabbed their suitcases from the car and walked into the home. It was nice inside, nice but it just needed to be dusted.

"We need to clean and get food as well." Coulson told her,"Huge cleaning.." May replied. May walked over to the kitchen. "I'm going to take these upstairs. I'll be back down" He told her, "Okay," she replied once again. He took both luggage upstairs, exploring the upstairs a bit coming to Thebes's fact that there where, one master bedroom, four guest or extra bedrooms, alongside a giant bathroom and a small porch. In the master bedroom was a Olympic queen bed[Yes apparently that is a thing.] Small bedtables on both sides, with a drawer a tv and a bathroom. The mater bedroom also had a balcony, the only thing that was missing were curtains really, and other essentials items but he worried about the curtains more. He guessed to tell her they would need to by curtains for it later. Setting the luggage down, he checked his for the ring. He the closed it making his way down stairs. He heard a sneeze coming for the kitchen.

"Yeah we really do need to clean." May told him turning around rubbing her right eye and nose. He just laughed which earned him a playful punch in his arm from her. Once he stopped laughing he looked around

"And to think we get this place..all to ourselves." He muttered," to be fair it was just for you but I'd figured it's time to put this in use." May told him

"True. So what's first on the list?" He asked her

"Well, I'll stay here at clean I feel you want while you go grocery shopping."  She told him. He thought about it and then came the the clue if she ended up wanting to uppack, she'd find the ring. 

"No it's fine, I'll clean and you can go shopping, and we also need curtains for our room. It has a huge glass door Since it as a balcony" He said,"You have better taste in this kind of stuff" He stated. May just hummed. 

"Okay, well I'll be back." She kissed him on the cheek before grabbing the keys to Lola and her small handbag. Once her heard the front door shut he started to clean.

The next day were amazing as it quickly ended. The next day would be the day he proposed to her before they went back home.

It was around 4:00 and May was out on the balcony wearing a pair of Black shorts a dark maroon colored crop top. May kinda knew that Daisy had stolen her clothes. She only had one pair of pants as she just bought another two in Australia.

She then though about Rosalind and Audrey. Audrey was someone he dated or something like that. He only slept with Rosalind to get close to the ATCU. She felt kinda of odd, they didn't seem to have many insecures. Her on the other hand, just was different from most women.

She then felt a pair of hands wrap around her waist. 

"Don't even think about Rosalind and Audrey, You're perfect just the way you are..." He whispered in her ear before planting a sweet long kiss on her lips.

"How did you know, its like you can read my mind or something..." she muttered the last part to herself quietly. He shrugged,"You get this sad nod murderous looks on your face, so I just sorta assume it's about that." He finished

She scoffed slightly,"I wish it was always this quiet back at the base, The kids are so noisy." She laughed at her last part a second well as Coulson,"They'll be fine." He joked, not a lot of good things happen when their gone but they can only hope. Last time Fitzsimmons almost set the lab on fire, Daisy broke about 35 window, Elena got a broken arm from crashing into a wall using her powers on accident, Mack had spilled oil in the hallway causing Daisy to end up with a sprained ankle and Bobbi as well. Hunter hung off from a chandelier and broken his right leg and right arm with other small injuries. Piper shot three agent on accident while gun training because Quote on Quote 'When you train with may you don't sneak up on them.' Davis burned himself on accident when he was with Fitzsimmons as they almost set the lab on fire. And to top that all off Deke Order 2,000 lemons to their base as everyone found them on their beds and chairs as well as the kitchen where they should be.

They can only hope nothing goes wrong this time.

"Hey Melinda?" He said

"Yeah, what's up..?" She asked

"You remember that conversation if we ever got married...?" He asked softly. The had a conversation about this three months ago as they have been dating for two years now.

"Yeah, I'd been nice wouldn't it?" She chuckled. He let go of her waist turning her around for her to face hi, as he held her hands.

"You know I love you so much..and I'd do anything for you.." He hummed caressing her right cheek. She spnodded slightly as she gave a small smile," I love you too." She replied.

It was now or never...

He stepped back getting on one knee,"Will you Marry Me, Melinda Qiaolian May..?"

She gasped a little bit before bursting into slight tears,"Yes.." She both laughed and slightly cried as two tears ran down her cheeks. He slid the ring on her finger and then picked her up twlirling her around before just setting her down to kiss her. 

"I love you so much..." He told her with a smile.

"I love you to..." She replied. Both their foreheads resting on one another's.

This has been by far the best trip they have both ever taken.
