Hey there darlings! It's me. The next chapter is in the works but before that I what to address something that has been on my mind for a while. So, I know this isn't a chapter but I wanted to talk about this.

Kageyama Tobio, King of the Court, Dictator and Tyrant.
Some of the many names given to him.
(Spoiler ahead)
In reality he was just a young boy who was grieving for his grandfather who had passed away. He was just a damn boy! A kid! The pain that a person has to go through to lose that shine, that light in their eyes and that smile is something that is being overlooked in my opinion.
I am not hating on Oikawa stans or on Oikawa himself because I, myself kin Oikawa but I feel like that unlike Oikawa, Kageyama's past doesn't get much light.
When he was grieving, when he was hurting all he wanted to do was to prove himself to his passed away grandfather. His grandfather whom he idolised, thought of his best friend and coach.
The kid lost his light, went from that(left picture) to this(right picture) and no one freaking bothered to ask him what's wrong? Let it sink for a moment.
The King of The Court was just a hurt boy facing his demons.
The way his smile just disappeared hurts me. The way the light in his eyes just darkened breaks me. While he was grieving, the only way he could cope with it was volleyball but then on the court his teammates "defied his rule" and I think it just made him have even more trust issues.
Now I am not comparing Oikawa to Kageyama but just think about it. Just think. Yes Oikawa has been through a lot, been compared and had work hard. I agree, Oikawa has had to work for his position and still has too.
Now, stand in Kageyama's shoes for one moment. Just for one moment.
Imagine losing your only idol and friend. Not having any friends and only volleyball as your only peace. No friends, no one to lean on and then being abandoned by your team whom you thought would stand by your side. Kageyama may have been a tyrant or a dictator or the King of the Court, but isn't he, himself a victim in a way.
A child who should have had his parents or friends comfort him, hold him, went through the most difficult part of life by himself. Forces to be abandoned. His teammates could have talked it out, they could have tried to talk to him, make him understand, share his sadness and lighten his heart.
But in the end, filled him with a mindset that his teammates would always abandon him. A constant fear of his that we have seen many times during the anime and manga series.
Kageyama Tobio, a boy who had to face his own fears and trauma by himself. A King with a crown made of gold that sat heavy on his head. A king made by his teammates and abandoned.
Kageyama Tobio, a young boy....
Who found peace in Karasuno.
I'm sorry for writing this but I just needed to get this off my chest. You never know who is going through what. You never how much someone might be suffering. A smile or coldness towards doesn't mean that the person is okay. People are broken in different ways, some reach out while some bottle up everything.
Have a good everyone and I hope that you won't think too poorly of me for writing all this. You can disagrees with me but I just needed to put out my feelings somewhere because it had been suffocating me from within. —Natalia Ascarte
