Everyone was gathered in front of the school gates. Y/N was talking with Hinata and Yamaguchi about their First Year classes and studies. Tsukishima would interrupt occasionally and they would laugh when Y/N and Tsukishima would taunt each other. It was one of those moments currently.
"Shorty."
"Bean pole."
"Brat."
"Nerd."
"Pipsqueak."
"Lanky blonde french fry."
"The heck?" Tsukishima frowns at the insult while Tanaka, Hinata and Kageyama snickered and laugh in the background. Yamaguchi let out a small chuckle.
"Cat got your tongue?" She smirks folding her arms.
"You are really are of a different species." He says sighing.
"Anyways on the bus we go." She says pulling Kageyama with her. He lets out a small yelp being suddenly grabbed. He and Y/N take a seat side to side, with Kageyama beside the aisle and Y/N beside the window. Behind them sat Tanaka and a very nervous and pale looking Hinata.
Y/N sighed realising what was going to happen. Just as she was going to give a plastic bag to Hinata he pukes.
"Hinata puked!"
"Open the windows!"
"Someone give him some water!"
"Not on me, Hinata!"
The bus was in a chaos. Y/N sighed and pulled out a bottle of tables and sum gum. She got out of her seat and went over to the two in the back seat. She gave the plastic bag to Tanaka who said something about a Goddess. Walking over to Hinata she gave him the bottle of tablets, gum and water bottle.
"Hey Kageyama can you and Tanaka seat together on the forward seats? I'll keep Hinata company for the journey." She looked at Tanaka and Kageyama who gave a nod and moved forward. Helping Hinata, she sat him beside the window taking the seat beside him.
"Lie down on my lap Hinata. You should sleep for awhile, perhaps you'll feel better." She said with a soft tone and smiled.
Hinata blushed slightly and nodded before laying his head on her lap. He slowly drifted to sleep when fingers softly threaded through his orange locks. Soon enough he was fast asleep with his face towards her stomach. She hummed threading one hand through his hair while using the other to scroll through her phone, her headphones in.
The people on the bus wouldn't lie if they said that they were slightly jealous of the tangerine. Y/N looked up from her phone and raised a brow causing everyone to shuffle back to their seats. She hummed to the lyrics of the song as she unconsciously sang out a few lines out aloud.
