Asahi jumped and served the ball as the Third and final Set begun. It was the final showdown. Karasuno and Seijoh stood at the stage they did last time. It was as if fate had weaved the intricate threads together and aligned their fates together.
However as the threads were woven, one particular thread had escaped the fine, perfect bindings.
Y/N and Ennoshita shared a glance when Kyōtani received Asahi's serve. They seemed to have similar thoughts as they nodded simultaneously.
Oikawa was next. He bounced the ball and took his position for his serve. Y/N clicked her tongue before yelling, "Asahi if you can't receive that serve then I'll make you run around naked at school!"
Said Third Year pale as he knew that she was serious with her threat. Sugawara stuffed his laughter while Yamaguchi stared at the Second Year with wide eyes. In fear of her, Asahi received the fast and strong serve. Y/N and Ennoshita smirked and did a low high-five.
"Works like a charm." Y/N said to him.
"Looks like our small tricks keep working." Ennoshita smiled back.
"Wait! You two....planned this?" Yamaguchi asked surprised.
"She wasn't kidding though. She'd punish him like she said." Ennoshita shrugged.
"Yep." Y/N agreed.
When Karasuno had gone ahead of Aoba Josai with the points, Y/N knew that the time for her to sub in the match was drawing nearer. She was a trump card.
She wasn't being cocky, no she knew that she was yet to put into the match wasn't because it was Ukai's decision.
No, it was her plan.
Ever since the match had begun, she had predicted everything, every move and when would be the best time to sub in. She clicked her fingers getting the attention of Kiyoko. Green eyes met blue eyes. Y/N mouthed silently to Kiyoko, "Page twelve, seventh point."
Kiyoko nodded and opened the notebook to the mentioned page before handing it over to Ukai and Takeda, both of whom who glanced at the Second Year girl before reading the message written on the page.
Their eyes widened and before they ask anything, Seijoh called for their first time out. Y/N's lips curled into a wry smile as the players returned to their respective benches.
When everyone was gathering around, Ukai ran over to her with wide eyes, Takeda and Kiyoko in tow behind him. He held the notebook infront of her as she looked at him with a blank stare with a raised eyebrow.
"What is this?" Ukai asked.
"What I strategised." She said blankly.
"How can we pull this off?! We have never tried this before?!" Ukai said with wide eyes.
