August 11 National Spring Highschool Volleyball Tournament (A.K.A The Spring Tourney)
Miyagi Prefecture Preliminary Round DAY 1
"Look there. Its them, Karasuno High school."
"Huh?"
"They're the school that played Blue Castle three full sets in the Interhigh."
"They only lost by a hair at the very end too!"
"For real!?"
"I hear they have Kitagawa Daiichi's 'The King of the Court' and Nishinoya from Chirdoriyama."
"Whoa! Didn't that Nishinoya guy get the best Libero award when we were in middle school!?"
"Yeah that's him!"
"Plus I heard they're supposed to have another guy who can bump those killer serves from Blucastle's Oikawa just as good as their Libero. I think he's their captain."
Daichi looked through the match up sheet
"That's incredible! But, y'know? I never thought of Karasuno as a particularly big team."
The sound of shoes against the floor sounded as eyes darted towards the source of sound. Black hair and serpent like green eyes. Instantly recognition clicked the eyes of bystanders as they moved away, paving a path for the person.
"Hey who is that?"
"Holy shit she's here."
Long black hair flowed behind her as her hair was pulled into a high ponytail. Her Karasuno jacket on as she walked through the crowd of players, a certain confidence radiating off of her.
"She's Dazai Y/N. Youngest Member of the Japan Volleyball Federation Board."
"Isn't she also a highschooler!?
"She was also featured on Vogue Japan!"
Y/N stood next to Daichi who was going through the match up sheet. She took off her Karasuno jacket revealing her jersey underneath.
"She is a player on the boys team!?"
"Crap! I don't want to play against her!"
"I heard that she blocked the spikes of Aoba Josai's Ace and was also in charge of the Inter highs in Tokyo."
Y/N showed the new player setup to Daichi and Sugawara who analysed the paper.
"Look we have to defeat the teams against us to go ahead. For the love of volleyball, tell those four not to self destruct and mess up." Y/N says sternly and Sugawara and Daichi nodded.
