"Thanks for accompanying me." Y/N smiles at Oikawa who walks beside her.

"Its alright. I needed to get my knee checked before the matches anyways.

"Still."

The two of them walk down the pale coloured walls of the hospital. Oikawa and she were done with Oikawa's checkup now Oikawa was going to wait in the waiting room while she went for her appointment.

"You'll be here?" Y/N asked.

Lately Y/N had been needing reassurance from others for many things. It was like a promise to her that she would always return to someone waiting for her. Call her cruel, making people wait for her, but it was the only validation of her existence at times.

"Of course Little Cutie." Oikawa gave his usual flirtatious smile.

"Things aren't looking good Dazai-San." The doctor said as Y/N sighed in defeat.

"I know. My health keeps deteriorating." She says as she fiddles with her thumb which lay in her lap.

"Do you want to know what might come your way in the future?"

"I.."

"I won't force you. It's your will. I'm actually happy that you found my office when you did. We have been able to stabilise your condition using those specialised medications." The doctor said she could only nod.

"I want to know." Y/N looked up from her lap, determination and fear swirled in her eyes.

"Ok then."

Y/N watched as he took out a notepad and started to explain the problems that might or will come up.

"Firstly your time. Give or take a few months. If I'm correct then the time around your Spring Interhigh would be the deadline. Now if we move onto the symptoms."

Y/N could only nod and understand the things the doctor was saying. She knew that she wasn't ill. No, she may have medications but she was not ill nor did she have any severe disease.

"You have to understand Dazai. The sudden shift from your reality to this, has taken a toll on your body. You are experiencing these pains, aches, numbness, everything due to that shift. Normally, people aren't meant to move realities but it is possible if you will yourself to. However in your case it seems to accidental. Now if you take in the fact that you unknowingly changed realities and have been pushing yourself non-stop,  your time has been reduced by more than half." The doctor said and Y/N willed herself to ask.

"Is there anyway I can stop my time here from decreasing anymore. Give or take a year or two."

"There is." Doctor said and Y/N smiled a small smile.
