Year Three
fourty six. New Years

"So you're telling me you think Pansy is trying to make moves on Blaise?" Magnolia questioned her best friend as they sat in a cart on the way back to London for Winter Break.

"Yes! You should've seen her, Maggie! You could even ask Daphne!" She stressed to Magnolia who was reading her old Legilimency and Occlumency textbook.

"I believe you," Magnolia shut her textbook as she stuffed it into her bag. "I know Pansy, she's one to do something like that."

"That's exactly what Daphne told me." Lucille mumbled to Magnolia who was now fully intrigued at what had happened.

"Enough talk about me," Lucille started. "What's going on between you and Fred?"

Magnolia looked taken aback. She really hated when people asked about Fred and her, because honestly... she didn't know what answer to give them. She had no idea what Fred and her were. One second he was snogging Angelina, next she was almost dating Theodore, then they kissed, and then after they cuddled in the Great Hall, and now... she hasn't spoken to him in awhile.

"I honestly don't know." She sighed. "I'll talk to him after Winter Break, try to sort things out." Lucille nodded as she agreed that was a good idea. Lucille was ambivalent on whether she was glad to be home or not. Her mother had forbade her to talk or hangout with Draco Malfoy, and for the most part she had obeyed her mother's orders- except for when he had kissed her. Lucille stared out the window that laid upon the country side of England. It was covered in a white snow, and far off in the distance you could see a little village. She had not even told Magnolia about the kiss Draco and her had shared, let alone tell her mother.

She was ecstatic to be able to see William since she didn't see him as much, but she had to be faced with Melody. Hanging out with the Slytherins had meant she was faced with her older sister more than she would've, but after a harsh reprimanding Melody had gotten she, for the most part, left Joshua and Lucille alone.

Lucille was also very reluctant to bring Magnolia over, not only because her father was questioned of being a death eater, but because of the way things worked around their home. Magnolia was also cleaned up after herself by the house-elves, and was feed food from house-elves. Lucille's mother and father expected them to always clean up after themselves, and they didn't have house-elves.

Back to Magnolia's father, he had never been given a trial since there was never a dark mark on this arm like the rest of the Death Eaters had. Some Death Eaters in Azkaban claimed Xayne Malvorseve helped, but he denied all claims. Saying they were 'foolish' and 'he'd never do such a thing'

Now, Xayne and Persephone had never really liked the idea of blood supremacy, as claimed. Xayne's parents on the other hand, Wentworth and Helena Malvorseve, were huge on it, and were Death Eaters in the First Wizarding War. Helena and Wentworth were both killed though leaving behind their only living son, Xayne.

Xayne claimed that he had no idea that his parents were involved in such thing, and he was never around them to actually know since he had three children of his own at the time of questioning. After the confirmation about Helena and Wentworth's death, Xayne and Persephone moved in with Franklin, Claudius, and Magnolia into the Malvorseve Mansion where they had been ever since.

Elizabeth was reluctant letting Lucille go over to the Malvorseve's back at the start of second year since she was convinced the mansion had some type of Dark Magic in it from when Helena and Wentworth owned it. Persephone confirmed to Elizabeth that the mansion was one-hundred percent safe, and she wouldn't let her own children in if there was some type of Dark Magic involved.
