Year Two
twenty. The Malvorseve LegendThey day was dewy, it was particular warm for a November morning. The word around the school that the Chamber has been opened had spread, and the suspects have been brought to everyone's attention. The Malvorseve siblings, Draco Malfoy, and surprisingly, Harry Potter.
"Why do you even hangout with them, Lucille?" Lucille sighed deeply. She was talking in the common room with her fellow Hufflepuffs. Justin Finch-Fletchley was pressing Lucille to open up about Magnolia and Draco.
"If your wondering if I know anything, I don't. I also don't think Magnolia or her brothers are the heir of Slytherin." She replies, but Justin keeps going at it which makes her very annoyed. Lucille hardly hangout with the Hufflepuff, except for Cedric and Hannah.
"So you think Draco could possibly be the heir?" He says. Lucille shakes her head quickly, she doesn't need the word that she thinks Draco could be getting around the school. They were just starting to get along.
"No, not at all, I'm just saying I think Magnolia and her-." She starts to defend herself, but she was cut off by him.
"So you only think now?" Lucille rolls her eyes at te accusation. She didn't want to ruin her friendship with the Ophidians. Speaking they were the only ones to actually hangout with her.
"Y'know Lucille, they are bad news, you should just stay away from them-." Lucille interrupted Justin this time with a rage of anger that came out of nowhere.
"WELL MAYBE IF YOU ALL ACTUALLY LIKED ME MAYBE I WOULDN'T HANGOUT WITH THEM!" She shouts at the group. She grabs her wand, and storms out of the common room. She looked at the time, it was almost time for her History of Magic class that she had with Gryffindor and Slytherin. She was one of the two Hufflepuffs that had that class. She was upset not only because Justin was accusing her friends of being the heir, but History of Magic was a really boring class to take.
Lucille entered the classroom, and waved to Magnolia as she sat down next to her. Professor Binns was a ghost, speaking that he was a very boring teacher. Lucille then started to smile at the thought if Peeves was the teacher. They would get zero work done, and just be learning pranks.
As usual Professor Binns had the class open to a textbook page, and just read the whole class. Lucille has fallen asleep in this class around five times only this year. Everyone was paying attention when Hermione Granger raised her hand to get his attention.
"Miss-?" He trailed off waiting to hear Hermione to give her last name.
"Granger, Professor. I was wondering if you could tell us anything about the Chamber of Secrets?" She asked, and now everyone was perked up waiting to see Professor Binns response. Like Magnolia she knew a fair amount about the Chamber of Secrets, but Lucille knew very little.
"My subject is History of Magic," he replied very parched. "I deal with facts, Miss. Granger, not myths or legends." He explains to the class who were eager to know more about The Chamber. He continued to read about Sardinian Sorcerers. Hermione looked around the class before forcing her hand back up again.
"Miss. Grant?" Professor Binns said impatiently.
"Please, sir, dont legends always have a basis in fact?" She explains to Professor Binns who looked surprised at her proposition.
"Well, yes, one could argue that, I supposed." Her cleared his throat staring at Hermione.
"However, the legend of which you speak is such a very sensational, even ludicrous tale-." He stoped speaking when he realized for once everyone in the class was paying attention and no one was asleep or almost asleep.
