Year Four
fifty three. Quidditch World Cup

"Girls," Persephone Malvorseve's soft voice rang through the two girls ears. "time to get up." The two girls stirred, and pushed themselves out of bed. Magnolia looked to the right of her, and saw her clock which showed '5:23 am'.

Lucille walked over to the trunk she had brought with her, and started rummaging through it. Magnolia had already prepared her bag for the nights they were going to stay there. Magnolia put on a sweater, and a skirt. Lucille put on some shorts, and a jacket to keep her warm.

The two girls headed downstairs with their bags, and saw that everyone was already ready. A few yawns emitted from Claudius, but then again it was five in the morning.

"Come on," Persephone rushed her family. "We are supposed to meet the Malfoy's." Lucille shuddered when she heard that they were going to see the Malfoys. She hasn't seen Draco since school ended.

"You okay?" Magnolia asked her best friend. Magnolia sensed something was wrong, and she was going to read Lucille's mind, but that would be an invasion of privacy, and if she was really a true friend, she would wait for Lucile to tell her.

"Oh, yeah. Just peachy, Maggie." She smiles back at Magnolia. Magnolia could tell something was up, but couldn't put her finger on it.

The six of them walked a little of ways until they met the Malfoys in the middle of a field. Draco was wearing a black suit. Lucille watched the expression of the Malfoy's as they eyed her.

"Oh, I'm not sure if you two met Lucille, but this is Lucille. Lucille this is Mr. Malfoy and Mrs. Malfoy." Persephone introduces. Lucille smiles at the couple, who just give her a faint smile.

"Well," Xayne Malvorseve breaks the silence, "Let's get going then, don't want to be late."

The nine of them go to touch the port key which makes Lucille and Magnolia want to throw up. They were greeted with a bunch of colours, and flashing lights. All the sudden they all landed on the ground. Magnolia got up, and dusted off the dirt.

Persephone dismissed the kids telling them to be back at the campsite soon. Franklin immediately dashed off to find his friends, and so did Claudius. Magnolia and Lucille looked at Draco who looked like he wanted to come, but Lucius had his hand on his son shoulder, not letting him go.

Magnolia and Lucille ventured through the campsites trying to find their friends that have already gotten here days before. They saw Ernie MacMillan, Daphne Greengrass, Theodore Nott, and some other friends. They got hauled over once more when they saw the Weasley's, Harry Potter, and Hermione Granger.

"Maggie!" Fred said which caught the attention of their whole group. "How have you been?" Magnolia looked at the taller boy, who has grown about a foot and had long hair now.

"I've been well, what about you?" She asked, still admiring the long hair he had. "Same ole'"

"You look nice." He commented. Magnolia hadn't realised that he hasn't seen the new bangs. "Oh, thanks Fred!"

"No problemo Maggie Paggie," Fred smiled as he stared down at the girl. He had a feeling in his stomach, it was sort of a nervous feeling. Why would he be nervous around Magnolia? She was just a friend. "I'll see you in a bit, Georgie and I have some gambling to do."

Magnolia stared at him in awe as he jogged away. Lucille came up behind her best friend.

"Isn't gambling at his age illegal?" She asked which made Magnolia chuckle. "Yeah, but everything Fred and George do are illegal.

Later, Magnolia and Lucille were getting ready for the game. Magnolia was painting green and white face paint on Lucille.

The girls headed up to the box where they were staying. Magnolia looked around the box, and saw the Malfoys and then the Weasleys plus Harry and Hermione.

Xayne immediately went to meet up with Lucius Malfoy, and Persephone stayed close to her children.

The quidditch game started, and the Bulgarians mascot were Veelas and Ireland had Leprechauns. The game started off strong for Ireland, and it only got better.

Ireland kept scoring to where they wouldn't even need the snitch to win.

"Oh cmon!," Ron complained, "Ireland is cheating!"

"They are not!," Magnolia fought back as she turned around. Ron rolled his eyes. "Krum is a good seeker though, Bulgaria is definitely going to get the snitch!"

"Yeah, Ireland still may win though if Zograf keeps letting the Quaffle in!" Lucille joined in on the fight. Ron just ignored the girls as they all got more intrigued in the game.

"Where is the snitch?!" The Weasley's second to oldest brother, Charlie, asked. "He's got it! Krum! He's got it!"

Everyone looked towards the score board as it read

Bulgaria Ireland
160 170

"Oh yeah!" Magnolia threw her hands in the air. She went over to hug Lucille who was also cheering.

"Bloody cheaters." Ron murmured as he started to leave the stands. Magnolia and Lucille just giggled as they started to get up out of their seats.

Later as Magnolia and Lucille were talking to Franklin and Claudius about the game when they heard yelling from outside.

"Whats that? Mum?" Franklin questioned, and Persephone came out of the kitchen area to see what was going on. The five of them headed outside to see what was going on. There was a lot of commotion, and Persephone face went white when she saw the faceless masked men.

"Death eaters." She mumbled, and then she looked at the kids in fear. "Franklin, Claudius, you take Maggie and Lucy into the woods, go as far as you can. I need to find your father."

Franklin and Claudius nodded as they rushed the to girls into the woods. They heard some other commotion in the woods and saw that the Weasleys and Hermione and Harry were there.

"Are you guys safe?!" Lucille called out to them, they nodded and then Draco came around the corner. Draco said something insensitive to Hermione. Apparently they are attacking muggle born witches and wizards.

"I hope mum is able to find father." Magnolia comments to her brothers. Persephone soon found her children plus Lucille, and told them to pack, that they were leaving tonight. As soon as they packed, they were on their way to the port-key.

"Mum! Where's dad?" Franklin asked her, she looked at him. She looked scared to answer when Lucille interrupted her.

"What's that?" Lucille pointed to the sky. Their was a mark, not just anymore mark though, the dark mark.

"Is that what I think that is?"
