Year Four
fifty four. Back At HogwartsDear Lucille,
Im ecstatic to see you in a few days for when we head back to school. Im sorry I haven't written, things have been... hectic here. Franklin had just left a week ago for Dorset. It's not too far, and he says he'll come see us before we leave... he hasn't yet. Mum and dad have been constantly whispering fighting. Apparently the ministry has gone wild, and I think there is something weird going on between them. I would use my legilimency, but my father has warned me that if I try to use it on him I would get severely punished.
See you soon,
MagnoliaLucille held the parchment in her hand as she read it carefully. Lucille, Melody, and Josh were heading to Hogwarts tomorrow for Lucille's fourth year, Melody's seventh, and Josh's second.
Lucille was afraid of what was to come. She was for sure she has seen the dark mark conjured into the sky that night with the Malvorseves. Maybe it was all just a joke? Maybe it wasn't. Her mother told her not to worry and that the ministry has it totally under control. She was going to write back to Magnolia, but it wouldn't owl in time.
Lucille was excited though, her father mentioned there was this big thing happening at Hogwarts this year. He wouldn't tell his children, but William knew and he said they'd be exited.
"Cmon Will!" Melody complained at dinner that night. "Just tell us what is going on!." She demanded fo which William locked eyes with his parents and smiled.
"You'll find out tomorrow, Melody." He tells her as he takes a bite out of his steak. Lucille wondered what was going on at Hogwarts this year.

"I can't believe I am missing what is happening this year!" Franklin complained as he ate breakfast with his family before Persephone went to the station with Claudius and Magnolia.
"Haha!" Claudius pointed at his older brother who glared at him.
"I'm just glad none of you are able to enter. Tri-Wizard Tournament is very dangerous." Persephone tells her kids as she takes a bite out of her omelet. Persephone looked at the time, and dropped her fork. "Oh we've got to go! Claudius, Maggie, say goodbye to Frankie."
Magnolia and Claudius said goodbye to their brother as they went towards the fireplace. Persephone came back downstairs, and they were off.
Platform 9 3/4 was crazy. Parents bidding their children off. Claudius and Magnolia said goodbye, and quickly went to find their friends. Magnolia quickly found Lucille.
"Long time, no see Mags." Lucille laughed as she hugged the girl. Lucille was seated with Daphne, Blaise, and Theodore. Magnolia said her hellos to her friends before she headed off to go find him.
"Mags!" Lee Jordan smiled as he pulled the girl into a bone crushing hug. "Hello Lee!" Fred's head turned at the sound of her voice, and he smiled widely at which George noticed.
George remembered at first when he tried to get Fred to stop liking Magnolia, but as he saw them more, the more he thought about how good they'd be together.
"Freddie!" Magnolia blushed as the taller boy pulled her into a hug after Lee. He got closed to her ear and whispered, "I've missed you, I'm sorry we didn't talk as much this summer at the Quidditch Cup."
She gave him a 'it's fine' look as they pulled apart. Magnolia hugged George before she headed back to her friends. Lucille asked where she had been, but since she didn't want to cause an uproar, and especially since Theodore was there, she just said she went to see Montague.
Once they got to Hogwarts, the rain was cold, and horrible to be in. Magnolia shivered as her friend and her got onto the carriage. They were relieved once they all got inside the castle, and met with the warm air.
The sorting went by quickly, since they had a lot of other stuff to introduce that night before they ate and went to bed.
Dumbledore then went on to introduce the new Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher who was Alastor Moody.
"He trained my mum when she was training to be an Auror." Lucille whispers to Hannah, who was looking in awe at his face.
"Now finally, the good part." Dumbledore chuckled. "This year Hogwarts will be holding the Tri-Wizard Tournament. Beaubaxtons and Durmstand will be accompanying us in mid October, and three champions will be picked on Halloween." He explained. He then went on to say how it is only seventeen and up, and that anyone younger will not be able to enter. That did cause an up-roar between a lot of people, especially the Weasley twins.
After supper, Magnolia went over to Fred who started to talking to her about how he and George are going to try and by-pass their way to get their names entered.
"Magnolia." Hermione walked up to her as she interrupted Fred. "Do you think it is okay that they're elves working in our kitchens without pay?"
Magnolia looked up at Fred with confusion, and then turned to Hermione. "I don't think it's very right."
"Thank you, you see Ron! Someone agrees with me!" Hermione shouts as she runs up to Ron. Magnolia walked up to the portrait of the Gryffindor common room, knowing she had to go now. She looked over at Fred who was admiring her.
"See you tomorrow?" He questioned her. She nodded. She waved to him as she headed down to the dungeons. Magnolia really was hoping that this year would turn out better, and maybe she'd will end up with Fred just year, just maybe.
