Year Three
thirty three. Ethereal

The next morning came, and Magnolia was running late and trailing behind the group. She told Pansy and Daphne to just head on without her. She had totally forgot they had to be up way earlier, so she slept until seven-thirty.

"Shit! Shit! Shit!" She mumbled as she tried to feel around her robe for her wand. She groaned as she went to turn back around, but bumped into someone. She looked up seeing Fred, who was holding her wand in his hand.

"Looking for this?" He held her wand up high above her head. She hadn't actually realized how tall he was to her, and she basically fell in love with his shoulder length red hair.

"Give-!" She jumped up trying to reach it "-it!"

He laughed as he raised it higher, and she became more frustrated with him. Magnolia was focusing on Fred really hard when she heard.

'She's looks cute.'

She stopped trying to jump for her wand, and stopped in her tracks. She blushed a deep red, and he looked confused.

"Why did you stop?" He question, and then his eyes widened. He gave her wand back to her, and scratched the back of his head.

"I forgot you could-." He was cut off by George and Lee bumping into him. They both said their hellos, and then turned to Magnolia.

"Heyyy Maggie!" George said to the girl with a huge smile on his face. He was in a good mood, Magnolia thought.

"Hello George." Magnolia responded to him. Fred still stared at Magnolia with embarrassment which she tried to ignore the best she could. She liked Fred, but there was no way they could date. He would be a fifteen year old dating a thirteen year old, and her brothers would never allow it.

"Well I've got to go boys, I've got to get my schedule." Magnolia waved to the boys as she headed towards the Great Hall with her wand this time. Fred kept his eyes on her until she left the corner.

"What's wrong with you mate?" George asked Fred who finally perked up.
"His girlfriend what's got him down." Lee laughed, and it ticked off Fred which usually never happens.

"She's not my girlfriend!" Fred scolded the two of them, Lee nodded, and he went on to the Great Hall. George stayed behind with his twin brother.

"Fred, you know you can tell me what's wrong?" George puts his hand on his brother's shoulder. Fred looks at George before he signs, getting ready to spill out all of his feelings he had inside of him.

"Maggie can read minds." Fred tells George. George's eyes widen at the news his brother just gave him.
"She can't control it, she accidentally read mine when I thought she was cute." George nodded slowly as he realized what was going on.

"Well you can't be with her-." George started, but he was cut off angrily by Fred who didn't want to hear his own brother tell him that when his conscious already reminded him each day.
"I know mate! I know!"

George huffed as he really didn't know what to do about his brother's situation. George could tell that Fred had fallen since the first night he'd met her on the Quidditch pitch. Fred had came in, and told George all about her. He didn't specify the name, but once he figured out who Magnolia was, he knew it was her.

"I'm sorry Fred, maybe you need someone to get your mind off Magnolia?" George suggested, Fred had no idea what George meant. He didn't want to lead on a girl, but he also didn't want to be swooning over Magnolia forever.

"And who do you have in mind?" Fred annoyingly asked his brother, George looked around the area they were in when he spotted Angelina Johnson talking with Alicia Spinnet. Angelina noticed George's stare, and waved and that's when it hit George.
