Year One
seven. The OphidiansSaturday morning came, and since it was mid-September it was a very dewy morning. Lucille had planned to meet the group at breakfast for their days of festivities. To which she guessed would just being Draco making fun of anyone he doesn't like.
She shucked out early, and put on a pair of jeans, a sweater, and wrapped her neck around her yellow and black scarf. She grabbed her wand, and a few belongings and she headed her way down to the Great Hall. Their was a few students awake, but not too much. Lucille found some of the Slytherins already eating, half of them weren't down yet.
Lucy walked over to the group, and she took her seat next to Magnolia. Daphne, Millicent, and Pansy were also down. Lucille was afraid Pansy was going to say something to her, but Pansy just gave her a smile.
"Hello Lucy." Magnolia greeted her as she sat down at the Slytherin table. It felt weird, on weekends they are aloud to sit at other tables, but it felt weird to be associated with the Slytherins.
"Hello Maggie, where are the boys?" Lucille questioned as she looked around only to see the girls. She watched as Magnolia stabbed her fork into her eggs.
"Sleeping, Theo is not a morning person that's for sure." Magnolia giggles, and the rest of the girls do too. Lucille smiles, but feels awkward as Magnolia made a inside joke that she didn't get. The one person Lucille had been avoiding all week just walked through the door with her friends, Melody.
Melody had shoulder length black hair, and she caught her sister's eye. Melody smirked as she strutted right up to the group of first years. Lucille tried to hide herself, but it was too late Melody already noticed her.
"Hm, what do we have here?" Melody's voice coos at her little sister who looked up at her shakily. Magnolia rolls her eyes, and turns around to face the fourth year.
"Leave her alone, I allowed her to be here." Magnolia fights back for Lucille. Lucille smiles at the fact that Magnolia was willing to fight Lucille's own sister for her.
"Who must you be?" Melody demands, and Melody's friends give off the fakest laugh ever.
"Magnolia Malvorseve." Melody's friends stop their laughter, and Melody raises an eyebrow at Magnolia then turns to her sister who also looked up at her.
"Very well, but trust me you don't wanna be hanging around my sister, Malvorseve." She emphasized on Magnolia's last name, but Magnolia didn't care instead she cared about the 'sister' part.
"Sister?"
"That's Melody, my sister." She very quietly whispered my sister, but Pansy didn't keep it quiet.
"Your sister?! You two are nothing alike?" Pansy shouts as she looked back at Melody who stared down at the first years, and then back at Lucille.
"I mean your personalities differ, but you have blonde hair and blue eyes, and she has black hair, and green eyes!""I've heard about Melody, she gets into fights with a lot of people, presumably Gryffindors, but here has been a fair share of Ravenclaws and Hufflepuffs." Daphne explains to the group, Daphne quickly makes eye contact with Melody but breaks it quickly.
"I heard some second years talking about it in the hallways, they were saying 'stay away from Melody Vagabonde' I put two and two together, and guessed you two where related," Daphne continues as she quickly refers to Melody and points back at Lucille. Lucille nods as Daphne is correct.
"I didn't say anything because you most likely would've told us if you wanted us to know."
