I had to tell dana that I can't stop thinking of her, I didn't know the reaction I would get but she surprised me once again by telling me what she thinks about me. I don't know if she likes me but I like her and I am willing to wait for as long as I need to.
I don't know exactly what she has been through but to see a now small scar near her temple and some scars on her wrists, I'm sure whatever she went through would've been horrible.
I will always make sure she is okay and protected, I want to see a very happy dana. I want to her to give me something more than a small smile and I can't wait for the day she fully feels comfortable talking with me. I can already see a difference. Dana still stutters but her pauses between words are shorter and she can almost say a complete sentence with out breaks.
My main goal is to get her back to a confident and happy woman.

Arriving back at our apartments, I didn't want to say good bye to dana, I have enjoyed her company.
"Dana I have enjoyed having coffee with you" "yes it was great and thank you for trying to ahh, protect me from the ahh, paparazzi" "I was more than happy to do it, I want to help you and protect you not make you feel uncomfortable" dana gave me a small smile "thank you Lochie, I ahh, really appreciate it". "I better let you go in" "you can ahh, come in if you like?" I was definitely not going to say no, I want to spend as much time as I can with dana "id really like that dana" dana nodded and opened her door before walking in and holding the door open for me.
Looking at her apartment it is very similar to mine, although danas already feels like she has made it a home. Seeing a large stereo system in the corner of the lounge I looked at dana "that's an impressive sound system" "yeah I ahh, I really enjoy listening to music" "what is your taste in music?" "It ahh, depends on the ahh, day from the eighties to now but ahh, the eighties music calms me the most" "any genre?" "Ahh not jazz or classical but every other genre yes" "do you listen to it often?" "I always listen to music, I also have another smaller stereo in my room" she didn't stutter at all. "Music really helps you?" "Most of the time is does but ahh, sometimes nothing helps".
"Would you ahh, like a drink of something?" "Only If you will be having one" dana nodded "I can ahh, offer you a water, juice or a ahh, hot drink" "I will be happy with anything dana" "okay ahh, you can take a seat if you like".
Taking a seat, I waited for dana to grab a drink for both of us.
"Here Lochie" I love my name out of her mouth, the way she speaks so softly.
"Thank you dana" "that's okay".

"Oh that is my ahh, work phone. can you please ahh, excuse me for a moment?" "Of course" dana rushed to a room by the looks of it her second bedroom. I was really curious to see how she handles her phone calls, as she is always so anxious when speaking.
Walking in the direction of where dana went, I was right she was in the second room. Leaning against the door dana was sitting in a black swivel office chair with a head set on.
"That's alright sir, I will do what I can to help. Can you please tell me what type of computer you have?.
Okay it is quite a common problem with those models but I can assist you in fixing it and if it ever happens again you'll know what to do.
Hold the off button on your laptop for ten seconds and it should turn off.
Good is your adapter connected?.
Can you please disconnect it for me.
That's not a problem sir.
Fantastic, I am going to need you to take the battery off of your laptop. do you know how?.
Wonderful, of course.
Great please press the power button several times then hold it for ten seconds.
Of course.
Okay release the power button and put the battery back in and reconnect your ac.
No nothing else.
When you are ready press the power button and everything should be good to go.
Oh you are more than welcome, this is why I am here.
You too sir"
I couldn't pull myself away just watching her at work so calm and relaxed. Dana took off her headset and got out of her chair.
"You were fantastic with that customer" dana gave me a shocked look before relaxing "it's ahh, what I love to do, I ahh, like helping people and computers are easy to work on".
"do I make you uncomfortable or nervous dana?" "Ahh, no you don't, why?" "You speak so strong on the phone with your customers or even in person to your mom but you still stutter around me" "I'm.. sorry it will take a bit of time" "you do not need to apologise dana, I was just curious that is all" dana nodded "well I'm ahh, going to go finish my drink" "I will join you".

"How long have you been a computer technician?" "Only two years but I ahh, completed my bachelor's degree three years ago" "how long did it take you?" "Four years, it was ahh, something I knew I could do without ahh, actually meeting with people" "and you obviously enjoy your job?" "I do, I love helping people and also animals but I ahh, haven't worked with them" this woman impressed me. she has obviously been through so much and yet she still wants to help people.
"Dana what age did you go through your dreadful time in life?" "It was ahh, on my seventh birthday. I was in a ahh, coma for six months after that" "a coma?" Dana nodded with her head down "yeah umm.. they had ahh, held me down and ahh..." "It's okay dana you don't have to tell me. I can see its hard for you to talk about it" as soon as she said 'they' had held her down, I didn't know if I could hear what these people had done to her.
Keeping my eyes on dana, she never lifted her head back up and I just had this feeling I needed to comfort her somehow but I didn't want to overstep.
"Dana are you okay?" She nodded but still never lifted her head.
Standing up I moved in front of her kneeling down. "Dana can you please look at me?" Dana lifted her head. her eyes instantly meeting mine, her eyes were watery but a tear never fell. "I'm sorry dana, I didn't mean to push you" "no it's umm, it's okay Lochie" I could see the truth in her eyes as she never broke eye contact. She did the same thing at the cafe just staring straight into my eyes like she was looking for something. "Dana" "Lochie I ahh.." the way she said my name I wasn't sure what she was going to say. I just waited for her to continue but she didn't until I spoke up. "Dana are you okay?" "Ahh I.. I'm scared Lochie" "what are you scared of?" "You.. I mean ahh, Im scared of liking you and getting too close and I ahh, I don't want.. I don't want to get hurt again".
Dana put her head straight back down but putting my fingers gently under her chin, I raised her head so I could see her beautiful green eyes.
"Dana I would never dream of hurting you, I want nothing more than to see you happy, showing off your beautiful smile that I know you have. To help you get back to your old happy self. I have not yet to met her but I can't wait until I do.
You are smart, kind, caring, sweet and definitely beautiful, not only on the outside but on the inside too. I may not have known you too long but looking into your beautiful green eyes, I know I want to look into them everyday. They are the first thing I see when I wake up and the last thing before I fall asleep. I can promise you, I will protect you and do everything in my power not to hurt you or let others do that to you. I know it's hard for you to trust people because of your past but, all I ask is don't push me away before I get the chance to show you" dana nodded never breaking eye contact with me "okay Lochie I can do that" relief swept through me hearing dana say those words and finishing it with a small smile on her face. "Lochie can I ahh.." "anything dana" dana moved forward and wrapped her arms around me, making me grin as I put my arms around her holding her tight. she felt right in my arms just like I knew she would, I never want to let her go "thank you Lochie" "you don't need to thank me dana" dana nodded and pulled back. "You ahh, have already helped more than you can imagine. just by being here and ahh, not judging me. Most people ahh, look down on me when I ahh, stutter. I dont mean to ahh, do it, it only started after I got out of hospital" "never let anyone get you down dana, it's their loss not getting to know you and looking down on you" "thank you Lochie". "you need to stop thanking me" saying it in a playful tone dana let out a small laugh "sorry I can't help it" "it's good to hear you let out a laugh even if it was small" dana gave me a small smile "th.. no I am not going to say that" I chuckled "Good"
