I know Danielle and corby are still in town but I don't have their numbers. Walking to Danielle's childhood home, I knocked on the door. A lady in her late fifties answered the door. "Can I help you?" "I was wondering if Danielle still lives here?" "No my daughter moved out three years ago who are you young man?" "An old friend I was hoping to reconnect with her" the lady gave me a genuine smile "I can give you her number" "thank you so much" after getting Danielle's number I said good bye, instantly calling Danielle "ahh hello" "hi Danielle it's jordan belstro" "oh my God long time no see how have you been?" "Doing well I was wondering if you'd like to catch up maybe over a coffee?" "That sounds wonderful, when would you like to meet?" "As soon as possible" "are you free tomorrow morning say ten a.m?" "Yes I am, are you still in town?" "Of course I will meet you at the cafe?" "Sounds good bye Danielle" "goodbye jordan".
One down, one to go. Hopefully I can get corby to meet with me as well. Going to corbys old house, I was surprised to see she still lives there. "Oh hi Jordan" "corby it's been quite a few years" "it has why did you stop by?" "It's important" "come in".
I stepped in through the door and corby closed it "can I offer you a drink?" "Yes please just a water thanks" corby grabbed two bottles of water out of the fridge, handing one to me. "Let's take a seat" I nodded. "So what's important?" "What happened with dana?" "I haven't seen her for seven years" "I know, no one has I'm talking about the day that I lost control and hit her" corby stood up "I think you need to leave" "corby please I need to find out the truth" "Latisha, Gabby, Danielle and I, we.. we didn't want to hurt her she was our friend but.." "callie" corby nodded "what did she do?" "She threatened us and we were just stupid we ended up hitting her. I regret it so much she was one of my closest friends. Callie did the unthinkable and cut her head with a knife. We yelled at her to stop but she was out of control. Dani, teash, gab and I all ran. We haven't seen dana since then" "she put dana in a coma corby" "what?" "She fractured her ribs and cut her arms up, she stabbed her and from what I've heard she was severely beaten up she was lucky to survive" corby had tears in her eyes "we should've stopped her, we should've called the police" corby sat back down "I'm meeting with Danielle tomorrow, maybe you should come" "Danielle? I haven't seen her since we finished school and even before then we didn't speak after that day, we all just went out separate ways" "maybe you can reconnect with her" corby nodded "I'd love to see dani" "we are meeting at the cafe at ten a.m. thank you for telling me what happened" "you still love her don't you?" After my spa I just rested in bed my mind was running over time. Hearing my phone I looked at the screen to see adam calling again.

"Hey Adam is everything okay" "umm I just spoke with Jordan he uhh he didn't know what happened to you dana" I sat up "what he was there he hit me" "he told me once" "he did and so did the girls" "did you see callie there dana?" "No I ahh I didn't" "she was there. Jordan didnt do that to you dana he hates himself for hitting you and I could tell he wasn't lying he sounded shocked and upset. I believe he is going to find out the truth" "does he know where I am?" "No I wouldn't tell him but I believe he is going to speak with Danielle, corby, Gabby and Latisha" "why?, they were a part of it" "Deep down I have this feeling it was callie dana, she always wanted jordan" "what?" "You didn't know?" "No I ahh never noticed".
"I will keep you updated dana but I promise I will never let him near you unless you decide you want to see him but he is not the person you need to worry about, I can give you my word on that" I nodded not that he could see me "thank you Adam" "you are welcome, take care dana" "you too bye".
Putting the phone back on my bed side table I got up and headed to the kitchen. To my surprise Lochie was still here sitting on the couch. "Sorry Lochie I didn't know you were still here" "I'm not going anywhere" I walked over to him and sat down beside him. "That was adam on the phone?" "Yes it was" "what did he say?" "Umm it wasn't jordan that put me in a coma" "he is covering for him" "no I believe adam. he had spoke with Jordan on the phone and he told me he sounded shocked and upset now jordan is on the hunt for the truth. Adam believes it was callie" Lochie looked at me wide eyed "callie?, That awful self-centered b*tch?. Why would she do that? You didn't even say she was there" "I didn't see her but according to what adam told me she was" "f*ck and she was near you, that's why she got you to go out that night and she didn't care about what happened to you, she wanted to hurt you, she wanted something bad to happen to you" I nodded. I leant into Lochie as he put his arm around my back "she will pay for what she has done, I will make sure of it and she will not get anywhere near you".

"We should eat" "yeah we should have you got anything out?" "Yes I planned to make carbonara bake if you want some" "that actually sounds good" I nodded.
"You can rest here and I will go make it" "no you always cook" "do you know how to make it?" "Ahh no not really, I know how to make carbonara" "hmm I will do it, you can learn" Lochie grinned "okay".
Both of getting up off the couch, I followed dana to the kitchen but took a seat at the stool. "Its basically like how you prepare carbonara but instead you put it in a baking dish and cover it with cheese. You should use parmesan but I can't stand it, it smells like spew" Lochie laughed "I'll keep it in mind that you do not like parmesan cheese" "so I use a mix of mozzarella and tasty cheese" "why both?" "Different tastes but together they are really good".

"Okay this is absolutely delicious" I grinned "I'm glad you like it" "I will never eat plain carbonara again" "I'm sure you will but this is definitely better" "I agree, maybe you should've been a chef" "no I like what I do, as I have mentioned I like to help people" "I know". "Will you be heading back to apartment tonight?" "I'll leave that up to you" I nodded "I don't mind I just thought I'd ask, I definitely won't be having a late night. your brother slammed me to the mats a few times today my body needs to rest" "it's all part of it" "it is, have you learnt jiu jitsu?" "I have, my brother and I both did it when we were kids but as you can see corey loves it and now teaches, where as I enjoyed it but I had other plans in life" "we all have our own ideas on what we want" "and what is it that you want?" "I already have my career but Id also like to volunteer at an animal shelter or run my own. I now have my own apartment and one day maybe kids but I don't want them until I know I am fully capable of doing that" "hmm kids, I have always wanted two" "why two?"
