Adrian's POV
She smiled a cold smile, "I should have known you'd come. What are you gonna do, kill me? Hah! You wouldn't have a chance, you're a Moroi without an element to attack with. I'm not gonna deny that Rose could kill me, she's had years of training. But you? Nah. You're weak. And I've been training."
"So have I said," narrowing my eyes at her, trying not to chicken out.
She rolled her eyes, "I can still take you easily." She said confidently.
Suddenly, she was tackled from behind by Dimitri, and Eddie had soon joined her, and they held her down together. Rose rushed over to help, and as strong as she was, she wasn't strong enough to escape 3 guardians holding her.
She growled, looking at me wildly as she struggled. "I hope you die." She snarled at me.
"I love you too, babe." I replied, smirking at her, since I knew she wouldn't be able to get at me.
She growled even louder, and struggled more with Eddie, Rose and Dimitri, trying to escape so she could rip my throat open, and probably drink me dry.
"Hurry your ass up, Ivashkov!" Rose yelled,
I went over quickly, sitting down on Laura and straddling her, adding more weight so it would be harder for her to escape. She struggled harder, but it was no use. There was no way she was getting out now. I took the stake out of my coat pocket and raised it above my head.
"I love you." I said,
And I plunged the stake into her heart.

Eddie, Dimitri and Rose and I had let her go and just watched as she was restored to a human. When the crying started, I got down quickly beside her and held her, and she just cried into my chest, holding tightly onto me, as if I would disappear if she let go. I held her close, stroking her hair and murmuring to her soothingly. I kissed her hair countless times as she cried, telling her over and over again that I loved her. By the time she was done crying, we had been there for about an hour, and she was shivering from the cold, for the temperature had dropped quite a bit. Without a word, I scooped her in my arms, holding her close, and walked out of the alley.
"You... You came to save me...?" Laura whispered
"Of course I did," I replied, "I couldn't let you suffer. I love you."
I saw her smile a little, "I love you too, Adrian. My knight in shining armor."
I chuckled and hld her tighter as we walked. We had decided to stay at a hotel for the night, and then go home.
"Sleep babe," I told her, "You must be exhausted."
She nodded, yawned and then closed her eyes, falling asleep almost immediately.
I smiled at her, sleeping in my arms, and continued walking, talking quietly with Eddie, Dimitri and Rose.
