I opened my eyes to find myself in a hotel room, I racked my brain to figure out what happened last night and how I got here. Once I realized how I got here my body shot up and my eyes went wide with fear, I looked around and saw the men, all watching me. I started shaking, and then I remembered what happened right before I passed out. I moved a shaky hand to my neck and felt where I had been bitten, which had dried blood around the wound, I cringed.
"So, you're finally awake." the blonde one said
"Yeah," I replied, trying to resist my urge to try and escape the room. I knew it would be pointless, there was no way of escaping. So instead, I decided to make conversation,
"So, what are your names? I like to know these things, especially if I may be spending a large amount of time with you.
"I guess there's no harm in telling you," the blonde one said, "I'm Matt, the brunette is Jake, and the quiet one is Aiden."
"Alright, that's much better than calling you names based on you hair color." I replied
Matt looked at me for a minute, as if he was thinking, then he said, "We're leaving tonight,"
"Wait... what?" My eyes went wide with fear
"We're leaving, did you think we were really going to stay here? We only came here to meet up with you and the boy to return the girl."
"Oh... right..." I said, becoming nervous to be going somewhere that I was unfamiliar with. "Where are we going?"
'Not far, we have a place here where we stay and lure humans to feed off of." Jake said, and I shuddered to think of all the poor people who had been victims of the men.

I stepped into the house that Matt, Jake and Aiden used and looked around, it was very nice, the previous owners must have been rich, but I'm sure the guys killed them and took the house. I was led into a spare bedroom that was close enough to their bedrooms so that I wouldn't be able to leave even if I tried.
After I sat down on the bed, Matt, Jake and Aiden walked in, Matt and Jake had evil smiles on their faces, while Aiden just looked bored.
"What's going on?" I asked, my face going pale
"It's time for you to change into one of us" Aiden said, it was the first time he'd said anything since the first time I met him, when him and the others took Shay.
I froze, I didn't want to become a Strigoi, I didn't want to lose feelings and only care about killing. I knew that they were going to change me whether I wanted them to or not, but I was glad that it was me in this position, and not Shay. I slumped in defeat, knowing it was hopeless, that they would get what they wanted, I had no fight in me.
Matt moved in closer to me, and he pushed me roughly so that I was laying down on the bed, I cringed, and then closed my eyes and pictured Adrian, I wanted my last thoughts as a human to be of him. I pictured his eyes, his hair, his smile, his laugh, his voice, everything I loved about him. Tears started spilling down my face as I thought of the other people I loved, my brother, who was no longer alive, Shayla, my best friend.
I felt Matt bite into my neck hungrily, and tried my hardest, with no success, to ignore the bliss that came over me. Once he was finished taking what he wanted from me, he took a knife and cut his wrist, pressed the bloody wrist to my mouth, and forced me to drink, I cringed, wishing there was some way I could get away from them, once he had given me a sufficient amount of his blood, he took his wrist away and wiped it on his jeans, licking my excess blood off his lips.
He grinned at me, and then I blacked out.
