Laura's POV
I woke up, extremely stiff, and I didin't know how long I'd been sleeping. I wasn't completely sure where I was, so I started freaking out.
"Adrian?!" I called, not even sure if he was near.
No answer,
"ADRIAN?!" I yelled, starting to hyperventilate.
Suddenly, I heard someone hurrying to the room, and as the door opened and someone walked in, I relaxed.
"You're awake babe, are you okay?" Adrian walked over to the bed, sitting down beside me and putting his hand on my houlder, looking at me with concern.
"Is... is it over?" I whispered, "Am I still a Strigoi?"
Adrian grinned at me, "No, I restored you. And I'm glad I did, I don't know what I'd do if I lost you." He stroked me face, and I closed my eyes, leaning into his hand.
I opened my eyes and looked at him, smiling. "I love you, Adrian."
"I love you too, Laura."
And he kissed me with a passion I didn't know was possible.

Eddie's POV
"I'm home!" I called, walking into the place I shared with Mia, walking into the living room. I was about to sit down on the couch when a chair spun around, and Mia was facing me, she looked pissed.
"Where the HELL did you go?!" She screamed, getting up and walking over to me.
Oh shit, I thought, She's pissed
"I... went to New York..." I replied, kind of scared of my wife, so was looking like she wanted to drown me.
"WHY?!" She yelled, glaring at me.
"Well... Adrian needed to restore his girlfriend... Laura, remember her? Well, anyways, he needed a few guardians to help, so Rose, Dimitri and I went. And yeah..." I said, trying not to run away from her like a scared little puppy.
"And why didn't you bring me along? Mia growled at me.
"You... you needed to take care of the baby, hun."
"I could have left her with someone!" Mia stomped her foot, muttering about how unfair everything was.
I walked over to her and put my arms around her, "I'm sorry baby," I murmured, "Next time I'll bring you, I promise"
She narrowed her eyes, but softened a little. "Fine," She replied.

1 year later
Laura's POV
"Where are we going? I asked, trying to look over at Adrian suspiciously, but it wasn't that easy, seeing as I had a blindfold over my eyes .
He chuckled, and cntinued driving, "You'll see."
"Oh really," I replied, "I don't see how that will work considering I can't see ANYTHING. Y'know, because I have a blindfold over my eyes."
He laughed and grabbed my hand, rubbing soothing circles on the back. "Don't worry babe, you'll love it. I promise."
I sighed in frustration, "Fine."
After about an hour, I heard the car come to a stop. Adrian planted a kiss on my forehead, and then got out of the car. He came around to my side, opened the door, and grabbed my hand to help me out of the car. Once I was out, he closed the door with his other hand, and started to guide me somewhere, moving his hand so that it was around my waist.
After walking for a few minutes, we stopped, and he removed his hand from around my waist, pressed a kiss on my cheek, and then went behind me, and removed the blindfold...
In front of me was a little picnic, with some of our favorite foods, and beyond the little picnic (which also had candles lit around it), was the most amazing view I had ever seen. We were on a cliff overlooking the ocean, and the sun was setting. I looked over at Adrian, with tears running down my face and a huge smile, and I was speechless, he grabbed my hand.
We walked hand-in-hand to the blanket with all the food, and we sat down. It was summertime, and he had told me to wear something nice, so I picked a purple summerdress that I absolutely loved, and he apparently loved it as well. He wore dark jeans and a white shirt, and I couldn't stop staring at him, he was so handsome. He caught me staring, and I blushed, he smiled at the blush and carressed my cheek while looking into my eyes.
"I love it when you blush." He murmured, and kissed each red cheek, before moving to my lips.
The kiss started slow, and very sweet, and gradually it increased in passion. When we pulled away what must have been 5 minutes or more later, we were both breathing a little heavily, but both smiling, and a blush was colouring his cheeks, I smiled at him. As we ate, we talked about the people we're friends with.
I've become very close with Lissa, Jill and Mia, and I've become even closer with Rose than I was before. Lissa and Christian had gotten married a few months back, and had just had a baby, well two to be exact. A boy and a girl, who were the cutest little ones alive. She named the girl Rosmarie and the little boy Eddie. Rose was picked at the godmother of little Eddie, and Mia as the godmother of little Rosmarie. Eddie and Mia's kid was almost 2, and she was a very hyperactive little girl. Rose and Dimitri had gotten married a week ago, and were currently on their honeymoon..
Once we were done eating, Adrian pulled out of a bad a little stereo, he hit the play button and one of my favorite songs started playing. I smiled at him, and he smirked at me, standing up and pulling me up right with him. He walked me over to the grass and we started dancing. I held me close as I leaned my head on his shoulder, content to stay this way forever.
A little while later, he pulled away and looked me in the eyes with a serious expression, but he had a smile on his face.
"Ever since I met you, I knew you were something special. You have changed my life for the better, and you make me want to be a better person. I will do anything in my power to make you happy, even if that meant sacrificing my own happiness. I love you with all my heart, you're the most beautiful, wonderful, sweet, caring, funny, cute, nice and amazing woman I have ever met,"
Adrian paused for a second and got down on his knee, pulling out a little purple box. He opened it, and inside was the most beauiful ring I had ever seen. "Will you do me the honor of becoming my wife?"
My jaw dropped, and my hands shot up to cover my mouth, As tears ran down my face for the second time tonight, I smiled, and nodded. I was too shocked to say anything.
Adrian grinned, slipping the ring on my finger, he stood up, and picked me up, spinning me in cicles, laughing.
