It's getting close to noon and Willow is sat with the townsfolk in the Chapel with Emily. Oliver and Rory were out, planning to trick the gunslinger and Alex and Amy were with Jex.
"Help me. Help me to -" The preacher is praying and Willow and Emily join in, bowing their heads as they sit at the back.
Soon, running and gun blasts are heard, the townsfolk look down as The Gunslinger's steps can be heard stomping outside
"Save us, O Lord," The Preacher looks up at the roof and a little girl stands, knocking over some hymnals. The Gunslinger hears it and stops, the group holds their breath and the girl runs next to Willow, who stands, pulling the girl next to her legs.
The Gunslinger blasts the door open before entering and the townsfolk start screaming. The little girl stares at the Gunslinger and he stares back. Emily watches Willow's protectiveness over the little girl and smiles slightly before the Gunslinger leaves. Willow lets the girl rush to her father at the front of the room and he gives Willow a smile in thanks.

A loud explosion is heard and Willow rushes out of the chapel, telling the townsfolk to stay there. Black smoke is rising from the rooftops and Willow looks over to the centre of town where the Gunslinger and The Doctor are talking.
": He behaved with honour at the end. Maybe more than me..."
"We could take you back to your world. You could help with the reconstruction," The Doctor offers and he watches out the corner of his eye as Willow approaches.
"I will walk into the desert and self-destruct. I'm a creature of war. I have no role to play during peace,"
"Except maybe to protect it," Willow says slowly and the Gunslinger looks at her, understanding.

Later, the Doctor runs out of the Marshal's Office and towards the TARDIS which is parked in the middle of the street. Amy and Rory are leaning against its whist Emily and Oliver stand by it. The Doctor takes out two vortex manipulators and hands them over.
"Good as new," he smiles and they take them thankfully "Well, not exactly good, but functional!"
"Thank you," Emily smiles and The Doctor salutes, walking up to his family as Alex goes to say bye to her friends.
"Okay, so, our next trip. Oh! You know all the monkeys and dogs they sent into space in the fifties and sixties? You will never guess what really happened to them -"
"Could we leave it a while?" Amy asks "Our friends are going to start noticing that we're aging faster than them,"
"Another time? No worries!" The Doctor nods as Amy and Rory wave goodbye to the town, Willow and Alex follow suit.
