Wondering why she was still panicking when she saw Luz Amity pressed her lips onto each other, waiting for a reply. Or not. She wasn't sure if she'd get one.

>>King and I are delivering some potions for Eda! It's nice to see you.<<
Amity smiled, mentioning that it was nice so see Luz too. Meanwhile the little demon climbed on top of Luz's head as he was tired from standing. Luz got the signal and cut her conversation short. She gave Amity a quick hug while struggling to balance King and keep the bag of potions in one hand at the same time before she had to continue her way through Bonesborough.

Amity waved until she lost sight of Luz. She didn't notice that she was smiling while waving at Luz. She didn't even flinch when a weight pushed on her shoulder a bit down.
>>Who're we smiling at, Mittens?<<
>>Yea. Who's the lucky one?<<
Almost not realizing who was talking to her Amity was about to give a rude answer but stopped to look at her siblings, she had recognized their voices.

>>Why are you two even here? Around me? Here where people can see us together.<<
Overly dramatic Edric laid a hand on his chest, trying to symbolize how much that comment hurt, Amity guessed. Meanwhile Emira was still leaning on her sister's shoulder, looking at her, eyebrows raised. Amity rolled her eyes and gave Emira a short smile. She supposed her big sister knew what she tried to say.

But it seems like she didn't got the signal. The twins quickly explained that they were going to see some classmates. After some minutes they realized that Amity wasn't home yet.
>>Where were you after school, Mittens?<<
>>Hanging around with Luz, kissing in the woods?<<
Amity's face turned red. She wanted to scream but all that came out of her mouth was a weak, squeaky ,,No".

As she was getting ready for a big discussion the twins surprisingly let go of her. They even told Amity to not come home too late. A bit shady. Somewhat confused and exhausted Amity went home. She got herself a glass of water and got into her room, sitting down on the chair in front of her desk. Since she had nothing to do Amity decided to study for school so she wouldn't lose her place at the head of the class.

She was already losing her concentration after a few hours. Leaning forward to rest her head on the Table. Tired, although she got some solid hours of sleep, Amity ran her fingers over the page right next to her face. After rolling her eyes worryingly hard she let out a sigh before sitting up again, bending over backwards. That action made her back pop. A bit shocked from the sound Amity just sat there for a hot minute, staring at her wall.  

>>Well, that was unexpected- aaaaaaand I'm talking to myself. Yay. Oh boy, That's it, I'm losing my sanity.<< 
Amity rubbed her eyes, resting her hands on her forehead afterwards, holding up her head from the desk. Her eyes moved down, staring at the numbers on the page. Math, it's the same everywhere. That doesn't mean it's easy though. 

Yea, Amity ended up stopping to try anything after 30 more minutes of struggling. What to do? She could go to the town again. But then she could meet people she might know. Who would want to randomly meet someone somewhere? Especially teachers. So the witch leaned back in her seat, annoyed by especially her own attention span nowadays. She could walk to the owl house. But it wouldn't be cool if Amity would come off as clingy.
