Barely five minutes after they got into Amity's room the door opened again.
>>Hey Mittens! Hey Luz!<<
Both, Edric and Emira, were on their way into the room to sit on Amity's bed. They didn't care about their sisters's almost threatening glare. A smile on his face Edric asked where Luz and Amity were all day, clearly more curious about what they did than where they were. It seemed like he wasn't in pain anymore. Even though there's a high chance that he'd do the same mistake again, eating raw cookie dough without listening to the warnings his sisters gave him. But who could blame that dork for an action like this?

While Luz started telling the twins what they were up to all day, that they met up with Willow and Gus and that Luz almost died while learning new glyphs, Emira glanced at her sister. The youngest Blight slightly tilted her head, not sure what her sister wanted to say with her stare. The latter nodded in Luz's direction, waiting for a reaction from her younger sibling. Amity stared at Luz, then back at Emira which was still waiting for a response. But Amity only got more and more confused. Her sister rolled her eyes and shook her head as a gesture of ,,Nevermind". Amity had trouble controlling herself to not just ask Emira what she tried to say. So the witch just crossed her arms. It made her look a bit upset. Almost immediately her brother gave her a reaction in form of a slightly provocative question.

>>Aw, why so sulky, Mittens?<<
>>I'm not "sulky".<<
Amity drew quote marks in the air, her face turning red in anger which was definitely audible in her voice. Okay, calm down, Amity. You got this, think about something nice. Her eyes wandered through the room over to Luz. The human looked in Amity's direction as soon as she noticed that someone was looking at her. When they made eye contact both looked into different directions.

>>Seems pretty gay to me.<<
Edric noticed that he shouldn't have said that when his face met the door. The big arm of a gooey abomination pressed the poor witch against hard wood. Now looking back he also knew that closing the door was a big mistake.

Luz was just staring at one of Amity's bookshelves, acting like she didn't notice the sound that Edrics head made on the hard surface. The youngest Blight wasn't sure if her friend heard what her brother just commented or was good at ignoring her but tried to calm down and act normal. Be more chill, you wanted to be more kind, Amity. Luz on the other hand didn't dare to turn her head. Whatever Edric said must've snapped Amity's patience. Sometimes it's better to pretend you're not paying attention.

After some time of Edric and Emira mocking Amity she finally shoved her siblings out of her room using another abomination hand. A relieved sigh later Amity sat down next to Luz, unsure what to do. So she was quite thankful when her human friend started a conversation, asking if they'd finish the book before going to sleep. Luz also mentioned that she was a bit tired. Amity nodded, suddenly feeling her stomach turn. It was Saturday evening, Luz wouldn't be at her place anymore the same time tomorrow. But Amity wasn't able to think about the near future because Luz was already searching for the book. Almost AFK again Amity pointed to the place where she last put it.

>>Ah, yeah. Didn't saw it the first time, thanks!<<
Luz then continued to get Amity to sit down by her side with wild gesturing and an excited smile. How could someone be that excited about reading a book for the second time?  Fans, huh? Can relate.

Although Amity was really happy about Luz's outgoing behavior, her own actions were rather shy. So she continued to sit down next to Luz, hugging her knees because the witch didn't know where to put her arms. Luz was holding the book this time so Amity had to turn the pages. In no time Luz laid her arm on Amity's shoulder. She flinched, surprised by the touch, and looked over to her friend, which looked back at her. A smile later they turned to the book which was already opened on the page they last read.
