Almost in a panic Amity opened her eyes. She wanted to sit up in her bed but stopped as she noticed something laying on her torso. The witch lifted up her head to see what was pushing her back into the bed. Tucked in a tiny bit of her own blanket Amity lay in her bed, still on her back. Luz was clinging to her, laying halfway on the witch, clearly still asleep. Amity eyes widened a bit. Right, Luz stayed over. She forgot that somehow... wait, Luz stayed over. They slept in the same bed. Where they cuddling while they where asleep? At least Luz did... Amity's face grew redder and redder the more she thought about it. After calming down again she was happy that Luz was still asleep. But she didn't want to wake up the human by moving. So what now?

After running through her thoughts and the process of blushing a few more times the witch sighed. She let her scroll appear and decided to scroll through penstagram until Luz would wake up. It was around 7am at the moment she started scrolling through posts. Selfies, memes, vines. All sorts of stuff you could find on that cursed app.

Nearly an hour later Amity wasn't able to ignore the growing numbness in the arm, that Luz lay on, anymore. She tried to get the blood running more normally through her veins by opening and closing her hand before she then carefully lifted her shoulder. What now? The position her arm lay in now was a lot but definitely not comfortable. As she moved a bit more, wiggling her arm like a fish on the land, Luz began to mumble a few words in her sleep before straight up rolling on top of Amity. Great. Now she wasn't able to move at all. Defending her freezing Amity lifted the arm that was free the whole time and began to gently roll Luz next to her on the mattress. This girl was like a stone. How did she managed to not oversleep every morning?

Finally able to sit up Amity sighted, brushing back her hair with her left hand, the right one still prickling from the blood circulating normally through it again. Before standing up Amity tucked her guest in again, careful not to wake her up. She then went to the bathroom, changed clothes and decided to clean her room again, bringing the few leftover cookies back downstairs and making some breakfast.

Opening the door with her elbow Amity sneaked back into her room. It was almost 10am by now. She put the plated on her now clean desk and sat down on the bed again. She was fighting a little war in her head, hesitating to wake up Luz. In the end her empty stomach won and the witch spend several minutes trying to wake up her friend. Success. The human yawned, stretching out her arms and wishing Amity a good morning while giving her a tired grin.

>>Already smiling that early in the morning?<<
>>Sure. You're the first thing I saw today after all.<<
The last sentence ended in another yawn before Luz sat up and rubbed her eyes. She looked at Amity as she seemingly waited for her vision to get clear again. There was a short silence, which the witch managed to break this time. Her finger pointed at the desk while she explained that she made breakfast. When Luz realized she asked how long Amity was already awake. The latter shrugged. She had decided that she wouldn't tell Luz that she got kinda clingy while she slept... wait Luz was staying over two nights. Stopping in the middle of a sentence Amity asked herself if that same thing would happen the next night.

Afraid that Luz would start to talk about cat romance again she then blinked her thoughts away, looking straight at her opponent. As their eyes met both of them froze. They just stared at each other for some seconds. Almost at the same time both broke the eye contact as they began to blush. Waaaait, did Luz just blushed? Amity turned to look at Luz again. As a matter of fact, Luz did blush. But her cheeks where going back to normal already.

Trying not to make a big deal out of it Amity tried to distract herself and Luz by mentioning the breakfast again. Luz nodded, giving her opponent a smile, before crawling out of the soft bed and over to the desk.
>>You did this all by yourself? Cool!<<
Amity thanked Luz for the compliment and told her that she was often making her own food to be a bit more independent, at least when it came to eating. Luz genuinely enjoyed the meal, which they were eating together on the blanket in front of Amity's bed. Than she thanked her friend for making the meal.
