IT HAS BEEN A MONTH
Jae found out she was pregnant, she had her first appointment today and she was definitely anxious.
She still hadn't told her grandmother and she was beginning to get a little bigger but she could easily hide it with a jacket or sweatshirt.
She still went to school every day no matter how physically ill she felt, or how emotional she was.
Malachi was still on her mind but her baby was there too.
She had to decide on rather she wanted to keep it or put it up for adoption.
But right now all she wanted was to be able to tell her 'NiNi' because she knew no one could support her as she would.
"You okay?" Jan'elle asked as she walked into their shared room.
"Yes," she simply said as her mind slowly slipped back to east.
"Do you know what you're wearing for this appointment?".
"Girls, y'all need to get ready for night service."
It was Sunday night, they went to church every Sunday and Tuesday.
Twice on Sunday morning and evening, once on Tuesday night.
Jae'elle looked at her grandmother who was at the door.
They both nodded as she walked away.
"I have an appointment."
"I can't reschedule I'll miss school."
Sunday was the only day they had available, and it was an evening appointment.
Only because of where they lived.
"You need to tell her, she'll make you go."
Jan'elle tried to convince her sister but she knew she was stubborn as hell.
