Zyaire was waiting for the food to be ready.
He sat outside by the pool thinking about what he'd heard earlier that day.
He saw the way Kairi acted, he never said anything but he noticed the signs.
What he'd heard today just confirmed his suspicions.
As he was thinking, he heard scraping against the concrete.
He already knew who it was she never picked up her feet.
He watched as she began to sit on the pool's edge.
"Picking up yo feet might make you feel better."
He could tell Kairi was in her zone because he got no reply.
"I can sit right hur?" zyaire asked as he tried to sit a safe distance away from her.
She just nodded her head as she kicked her feet through the water.
Zyaire took his shoes off and dipped his feet in the water as he looked at the view.
"I'm sorry," Kairi said breaking the comfortable silence.
"What you sorry for?"
"Y-your parents," she said knowing parts of his tragic past.
"Is it that noticeable?" he chuckled.
"No, Isaiah talks a lot with Sae'riyah," Kairi said bluntly.
