"JAE ANSWER YOUR PHONE"
East spoke as he finally shut his laptop for the night.
"Who the fucking calling you at 2 am?"
"I don't know babe," Jae'elle groaned as she picked her phone up.
She sat up as a voice spoke into the phone, "Is this Jae'elle Moreno?"
Her heart started to race as she didn't recognize the voice on the other side of the phone.
"Y-yes, this is she,"
"May I ask whom I'm speaking with?"
"Yes, I'm a doctor from Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital."
"Is something wrong with my grandmother?"
"I-I'm not allowed to say over the phone,"
"I need you to come to our hospital as soon as possible, this is a very important matter."
"Your presence has been requested,"
"I live in California,"
"I'm aware, we will wait for you but you must come soon,"
"I-I'm on my way."
As soon as she hung up the phone she started sobbing.
"I-I think something wrong with my grandmother,"
"Why? Who was that?" East questioned as he comforted his wife.
"A-a hospital from New York called, she wouldn't say what happened but she said it's important I come soon."
Jae'elle looked at Malachi as he was confused, he reached for his phone calling the nursing home her grandmother was in.
He waits for someone to answer the phone.
