Kairi quickly went silent as she saw her parents on the couch talking.
"Come in here yelling again, it'll be the last time you yell," Jae spoke as Kairi let Zyaires' hand go.
"Sorry mama, I didn't know you were in her."
"That's pretty obvious Kairi," She flicked Zyaire off as she went to sit in the chair across from her mother.
"So where's the car?"
Her father mugged her, "Your birthday isn't today is it?"
"What's wrong?"
"Why'd you ask?"
"You sound and look upset," Jae'elle laughed.
"She reads your ass like a book," East smirked.
"Nothing is wrong, you know you could pretend you're excited about the opening."
"I am excited, but I just want my car."
"I've never really cared for my birthday,"
