rhys and I just got home and I see my cousins running around the house I shake my head and try to walk upstairs but my dad caught me
"Cora if I have to deal with your uncle and cousin you will too come down here," my father said dammit I was halfway up the steps to
"papa you know we both and like go to the store and hide from them," I said and he laughed
"no can do sweetie and don't you miss your uncles and cousins," he asked me and I smiled I do miss them but I have a headache
"I do miss them I will come down for a little I have a headache," I said while walking down the steps and he wrapped his arm on my shoulder pulling me into a hug
"Are you okay do I need to get you anything," he asked me
"it okay papa," I said and he hesitated at first and then nodded we walked into the family room and all my uncles were here
"uncle alexander," I said while going over to him and giving him a hug
"ah it, my favorite niece how are you," he asked me
"I'm doing good wheres my cousins," I asked him looking for my cousins my uncle alexander and aunt Katherine had six kids theo and Tobi are twins, and then we have the triplets Elio, cade, river, and then her last child is devy so in all they have four boys and two girls
"theo and Tobi are out on a business cade and Elio and devy are here and river at college she said she had some work she needed to do," uncle alexander said and I nodded and I felt someone came and hug me from behind and I turn around to see devy
"hey cousin," I said and she smiled devy was beautiful I mean we all out our family can be whole supermodels if we wanted to
"Hey I heard you're going to a new school," she said and I took a seat on the couch next to august
"yup hallow high with my brothers," I said and she laughed
"I heard they have like the hottest boys there," she said and I felt my uncle, brothers, and my father eyes shift on us
"yea they are I already have my eye on a few," I said but in a low voice
"Lucky you, I really go to a boarding school," she said while rolling her eyes
"maybe you shouldn't try to burn down half the school," her brother cade said as he sat down next to me
"shut up it was an accident," she said in defense and I laughed
"it okay I made plenty of accidents like that," I said thinking of the memories of when august and I burn down a warehouse with people inside I mean we were eleven but it was our first job
"that doesn't count you had people inside of yours mines was empty," she said and now I was the one rolling my eyes
"Okay just tell me about your school," she asked me changing the topic
"okay the school is pretty cool they have this Twitter that spills the tea about all the student I been trending on it for the last two days basically like how gossip girl had there's and the boys there are hot," I said and she smirked
"okay one how hot like daddy issues hot or like boyish hot," she asked me and I laughed
"daddy issues hot," I said and gave me a big smiled
"I swear you're so lucky," she said and I laughed
"she won't be talking to or seeing any of these boys so I don't see how she lucky," my father said and I sighed
"baby she isn't gonna be a child forever and I want grandchildren so honey you may date whoever plus enzo she almost eighteen," my mom said and I smiled
"river and devy arent dating either there still my little girls," uncle alexander said and devy leaned over and whisper in my ear
"river has a whole boyfriend and they don't even know," she whispers just for me to hear and I gasped
"she better hope they don't find out or someone will be six feet under," I whispered and she nodded in agreement
"Hey you guys remember when Cora and luna and devy made a presentation on why they should have a boyfriend," kai said and I threw a pillow at him
"dont bring that up papa and all our uncles had to have a very long talk with us it was embarrassing," I said shivered at that thought
I was thirteen and luna and devy and I decide to male a presentation and when we showed the family my father and our uncles had a long talk with us it was like 'boys are bad and they will try to hurt you' and all this other bullshit every father will say just to keep boys away from there daughter but my father takes it very seriously and I understand he concerned but I'm almost eighteen the same age when mom and dad met
we talked and chilled and play games with the family and have fun and made jokes about the past we ate dinner together I was gonna stay down here after dinner but my headache got stronger so I excuse myself and went to go take a shower and go to sleep since I have school tomorrow
