I saw a little ways away from the crime scene, Derek Hale standing by his black Camaro.

We made eye contact and stared at each other before he decided to turn to open his car door.

However, something compelled me to walk over there. Deep down I knew he had something to do with why Scott and Stiles were acting strange.

I started walking towards him and he stopped trying to get into his car. Instead, he shut the car door and waited for me to walk over.

I glanced behind me making sure no one saw me walking towards him, especially the Sheriff, seeing as how Derek's still probably in the eyes of the cops.

"You shouldn't be here," I spoke folding my arms as I got closer.

Did he have something to do with this bus driver?

"And you shouldn't be talking to me, an ex-felon," He stated making me take a little step back cautiously. At this, he scoffed. "What're you doing here anyway?" I questioned and he looked over at the scene. "Whatever killed my sister, did that too," he spoke.

Oh my god, his sister. I totally forgot.

I unfolded my arms and softened my expression. "I'm so sorry."

"We shouldn't be talking right now anyway," He said quietly making me furrow my eyebrows. "And why's that?" I questioned. "Because your brother will try and kill me," Derek said with a little smile.

I made another confused face and Derek looked at the school then at me. "Ask your brother," He said. He started to open the car door but I quickly rushed closer and shut it.

"No, tell me," I stated forcefully making him raise his eyebrows at me. That's when everything I'd been keeping in just rolled off my tongue. "There are all these secrets he's been keeping from me, and all these excuses for things that don't make sense. Then you. I know you were at my house and threatened Scott not to play in the game. Why?" I asked.

"Get in."

I took a step back and stared blankly at him. "What?" I asked confused. "You wanna know what your brothers been hiding from you?" He asked and I nodded. "Well, we can't talk here. There are cops everywhere and your brother can easily hear us, so get in." I gave him a confused look, but then glanced behind me looking at the cops.

I knew I had to make my mind up now. Skip school and get answers or go to school and be in the dark.

I turned back to Derek, "Okay fine." I then went to the other side of his car and got in as he did the same. He quickly started the car and drove off fast.

"So where are we going?" I asked looking at him as he was completely focusing on the road.

"My old family house."

After the long and silent ride, we finally got to his house. I got out as he did the same and we walked inside. This was the first time I'd ever been in here, yet it felt so familiar.

I spun around taking in the entirety of the place. There was a grand staircase in the middle of the foyer that split at the top. It was a big open space, with room all to the left and right.

"You use to live here?" I asked in disbelief. "Yeah, until it was burnt down, along with most of my family when I was your age," He started walking around analyzing it as if it were his first time here.

I looked down at him. I remember hearing about this place now. The Hale House. I remember I was only in middle school when it happened. Everyone in town was mourning those people, but I never knew there were survivors.
