Do you ever need to look again at something to figure out if that's what you really saw or is that just a me thing? I sure as heck hope not, otherwise I really do have a screw loose.

So apparently, living in the same universe, in the same timeline as you and I lives a guy named Blitzo. And a guy named Stolas, and his daughter Octavia and her girlfriend Loona and their daughter Olivia. I had no idea who these people were until very recently, which makes me feel very stupid, but that's not an uncommon occurrence, so I suppose this story is another normal everyday thing for me. On with the story.

I was sleeping on the couch in the living room of the hotel. Charlie's son, Luca, was obviously bored. Luca is 13 and very mischievous and I'd failed to remember that when I fell asleep in the same room as him. I definitely regretted not remembering.

This kid takes a bucket of water and dumps the whole thing on me. I spring awake, dripping wet and glitching like crazy because my demon form doesn't like being wet. I was pissed, but the kid's only thirteen, what am I gonna do? He's not mine to discipline, thank the lord. But anyway, I jumped up off the couch, trying to shake the water off me. Remember, I'm soaked, so there's water in my eyes too and I can't see very well. So, when I'm suddenly handed a towel, I take it without looking and say "Thanks."

"Ahem," said a voice I vaguely recognized, "Yes yes."
One thing you should know before we continue is that the day previous, I'd been extremely angry with this guy. He'd shot at Val's studio and nearly shot Averie in the face. I'd been so pissed in fact that I'd gone full demon, but that's a story for another time. Upon hearing his voice right that moment, it sounded the tiniest bit uneasy. That's why I'd recognized it.

I look up from the towel immediately, and there's Blitzo, looking back at me. I blinked once, and then twice and said "What the-"

And then the weirdo pulled a bag over his head and said "I'm not here," and ran out of the hotel, leaving me with the towel in my hand, very confused. I didn't even have time to still be angry with him, I just dropped the towel where I stood and went to my room to contemplate life.

What did I learn that day? It takes a bucket of water and a very strange acquaintance to make your day just a little more confusing and amusing. This is Alaska and you're listening to Unimpressed Studios. You'll most likely be hearing from me again soon.
