Teasing is mean. Just gonna put that out there. It's mean, but it's dang funny, so that's why we do it. It's become the way of things, so much so that that's how we show our friends we love them and stuff. You've all done it, don't you even deny it. I know you have. Well, I generally don't tease, per say, I use my amazing sarcastic super powers, which I guess could be classified as teasing, but I tried actual teasing once, and that's what we're talking about.

As I've said, I'm one hundred percent convinced that Alastor will become attached to our daughter, Jamie. I say "our" because I am the mother and he agreed to be the dad, not because Alastor and I are together. But I'm absolutely positive that he's going to end up loving that kid as much I do. No questions asked. He gave her a cute nickname people, that's a sign of attachment and we all know it! Now onto the teasing part. The one thing you need to know before I start is that Alastor started it.

I'd fallen asleep on the couch in the living room, where everyone tends to congregate. Jamie wanted me to be awake, so she very subtly (not) roused me from my slumber. And the first thing Alastor said when I woke up was "Ah, our blissful glitch has awoken with a little help."

Okay first off, he's never talked to me like that before. Secondly, I fluster easily, so yeah, I frickin blushed and it was embarrassing. Jamie found it amusing, and I most definitely did not. I did point out that he's never said anything like that to me too, and he just smiled and said "Indeed I haven't." Which drove me up the wall but I said nothing back. I just stood up and went into the kitchen, like I always do in the mornings. Because ew, people. I don't needa deal with people first thing in the morning.

So there I am, standing in the kitchen, waiting for the coffee pot to turn on and I hear a little conversation starting in the living room. I forget exactly what was said, but the fact of Alastor agreeing to be Jamie's father came up and I, thinking, Why not? He started this teasing thing, sang out from my place in the kitchen "Attached!" and started laughing.

And you know what that Jamie did, the little snitch? She told him that I was laughing at him and not two seconds later, he's right beside me with his arm around my shoulder.

"Quite the melodious voice you have there, my dear," he said, right into my ear. I jumped a mile, almost fell flat, it startled me so bad. And of course he laughed and released me. Obviously he wasn't gonna do anything to me, he was just getting back at me, so now we were even. Part of me thought he was being odd, the other part was like "So what? Who cares if this isn't a normal thing, enjoy it, it's a new experience." I listened to the latter and chose to hold it as an amusing memory.

In the end teasing is a memory making thing, and it makes for good stories, so I don't mind it. It may not seem funny to you right then but you'll look back on it and smile, I guarantee it.

Well, that's where we end for today. Tune in again soon, I'm not done talking your ears off yet. This is your host and this has been Unimpressed Studios. Bye bye!
