As the car smoothly strolled past streets upon streets, my eyes became heavier and started to droop. I closed my eyes and leaned on Romeo's shoulder. His warmth surrounded me as his fingers stroked my cheek.

"Can I sleep?" I question him, not knowing how long it will be until we get to the airport.
"Of course!" He replies and wraps his arm around my waist.

I nuzzle into his arms and make myself as comfortable as I can considering we're in a car. His fingers continue stroking my skin and I feel myself drifting off.

Romeo's pov:

She's snoring lightly in my eyes and her face calm and so beautiful. She looks like an angel when she's fast asleep.Everything seem so natural and I think that's why I love her. Nothing feels rushed or strange. I graze my hands over her honey skin and I brush a hair behind her ear. Two months ago I was in my worst place after everything that happened but now, in this moment I am the happiest and best person I can be. She brings out the best in me and for that I am thankful.

My phone vibrates in my pocket and I bring it out to look at the notification. A text from Rose.

'How are you? Chiara's not picking up' the message says.

'Great Chiara's asleep thats why shes not answering. Whats up it's only been 40 minutes since we left' I reply.

'Just miss my friend that's all' She defends herself.

I decide to leave her on read. I'll call her when we land in Louisiana. I realise I've never been to Louisiana. Rose goes there a lot from what I've heard, I've never really been one for travelling. I've been all around Italy and to Greece a few times but that's all. Italy is just perfect to me. Everything there is so beautiful and feels right. Each street has a different story but Cheris lane is my story. Our story.

I pull out some earphones and play a playlist from my phone and close my eyes to absorb the music. I lean my head against the window whilst the music swarms my senses. Music has always been a relief for me. I remember when I was younger and had tantrums my Ma would send me to play my guitar or the piano and I would calm myself. I haven't played for a while, when we get back I'll start playing again. I do miss it. I just thought that I was stuck in my body and can't get out in the past year and I didn't care to change that and change for the better. But when I saw Chiara, it motivated me to be my true self again.

Another hour later and we arrived at the airport. I whispered in Chiara's ear softly and her eyes flickered. I whisper to say that we are here and she smiles that million dollar smiles. She is very awake now and excited I can tell. She's tugging my hand to get out of the car. Once she has pulled me out I hold her by her waist and hold her up so her legs are kicking to put her down.

The driver gives us our luggage and I go to give him a tip behind the door of the car so Chiara won't see and feel bad then tip him herself. I shake his hand and walk back around to Chiara. I hold her hand and we walk to the airport. She gives a wave to the driver and he gives a little nod.

We go through security and all the other things and we take a few fun photos, some as jokes and some cute ones. We look through the little airport stores and I ask Chiara to pick anything she wants, my treat. She picks a photo frame and looks at me.

"I want to frame those photos we took. And I'm going to make a photo book of this trip. I want to remember it forever." She smiles, "Your turn!"
"My turn?"
"Yes, you heard me."

I didn't expect this and now I don't know what to pick. She did the cutest thing by picking a photo frame. I can't live up to that. I snoop through multiple things but nothing catches my eye. "I don't know. What if we both frame the same photo. I'll keep it on my bedside table." She nods and smiles at me. We pay for each others frames and I put them away in a bag.

"Well I think it's time to get on the plane" I suggest."
"I think I need to go to the bathroom first!" She teases and walks to the toilets. I stand by waiting for her and when she comes back she smiles and takes my hand.

As we walk towards our plane she looks at me in shock. I only had to go and get the best private plane for the best girl. I smile at her and allow her to walk on first. She takes a step and her face is amazing. I take my phone out and take a photo of her. That's one to put in her photo book.

We take out seats and Chiara gazes out the window.
"Romeo you are incredible. I can't believe you did all of this."
"Well I wanted to treat you!"

She comes up to me and I scoot over in the cushioned chair and she plants a kiss on my cheek. I feel my cheeks light up and a smile plasters my face.
"You didn't have to do all of this."
"Shush I wanted to. Accept it." We both laugh and I wrap my arms around her.
"I accept." She whispers in my ear.
