I took the seat next to Rose and Romeo was forced to sit on the other side, alone. I put on a fake sad face but it turned into a giggle soon enough. Rose slides a menu towards me and another towards Romeo. I scowl at the menu.
"Guys I don't fucking understand it!" I whine.
"Woahh! Let me help you yeah?" Romeo's voice chimes.
"No. You did not help me last time I tried to speak to the waiter hm?" I snap.

"Seems like someones on their..." She whistles the last word.
"May as well put it on a poster with how loud you said that." I groan and slouch into the chair. Romeo chuckles and I give him a deadly glare. His face drops once he reads my face. I playfully smile as he gives an apologetic look.

Rose trails her fingers down the menu, explaining each dish. Instead of finding my appetite at a pasta dish, I find myself pointing Rose's finger at the pizzas. A smile forms as she recommends a meaty pizza to me. I nod in response and wait for the Bianchi siblings to choose a meal. I roll my eyes and Rose can't pick between two dishes. Leaning back into the chair, Romeos hand is on my leg from across the table.

My eyes dash up to his and he's smiling to himself. He looks back up to me and as he sees a calm reaction on my face something flashes over his eyes... almost like relief? I put my hand on top of his under the table and our fingers tangle into eachothers.
"Chi sit next to me?" His voice is sweet. I comply and sit next to him. I lean my head on his shoulder. His hand now rests on my upper thigh and I close my eyes.

It's not until I feel Romeo shift that I open my eyes. I look up to him and he's whining to Rose.
"Just pick that one. You're being annoying!" I giggle as Romeo rolls his eyes. Rose finally picks the first option. Romeo and I sigh in relief and Rose shakes her head. We continue in casual conversation until a young man waits at the end of our table.

"Cosa posso portarti?" He glances around the table until his eyes lay on me. (What can I get you?)
"Lei prende la pizza di carne e io prendo lo stesso." Romeo finishes for me. (She'll have the meat pizza and I'll have the same.
"La ragazza non può parlare da sola." The waiter replies. He scowls at Romeo but smiles as his eyes lay upon me. (Can't the girl speak for herself)
"Lei non parla italiano." Romeo's voice is stern. (She doesn't speak italian)
"Oh, inglese?" The waiter continues. (Oh, english?"

"What can I get you?" The waiter turns back to me, a smirk on his face.
"The uh m...meat pizza." My voice is quiet, I sense tension though I don't understand what they were just saying.
"Good choice. I'll make it myself for such a beautiful girl." He flashes a great smile and I smile back awkwardly.
"And for you?" He turns back to Rose and his smiles disappears.

I look at Romeo giving him a raised eyebrow as if to ask 'what just happened' but he rolls his eyes in response. He lightly laughs and pulls me into his side. As the waiter glances back at me, Romeo lays a kiss to my lips. Of course, I kiss him back. I thought I'd feel uncomfortable kissing in front of the young man but it felt good to let him know I'm with Romeo.

The waiter walks off, a fake smile plastered over his face. Rose and I both have a raised eyebrow to Romeo.
"What!" He's oblivious.
"Possessive much." Rose scoffs and tilts her head in the way the waiter walked off.
"Yes, very much." He wraps and arm around my shoulder and pulls me even closer,

We end up in casual conversation, a laugh escaping my lips every so often. Our conversation causes a few stares from surrounding tables and Romeo bites his lip to stop is laughter booming over and ending up with us getting kicked out.

Eventually the same waiter walks out with our drinks. We all ordered a coke and the waiter, who's named I'd learned to be Luca, had placed each of our drinks in front of us.
"Adesso ti porto il cibo, I'll be bringing your food very soon." He says the second part facing me.

Attempting to annoy Romeo, I reach for his drink.
"No, he probably spat in my drink and definitely gave you more anyways since he's so in love with you." He brings his drink to the other side of him.
"Too bad because I prefer someone else." I say smugly.
"Yeah? Who's that?" He says, an eyebrow arched.
"You might know him... Roman? Roman Branch?" I say, finishing with a giggle.

"No? I haven't heard of this Roman guy. Tell me about him." He insists.
"If you insist! Well he has these gorgeous blue eyes and sweet blonde hair. He's not much taller than me though." I describe the exact opposite of Romeo.
"Hm? Guess I'll have to meet him." He shrugs his shoulders.

I place a kiss on his lips and turn to my left. Luca is balancing two pizzas in his hands and another man behind him holds Rose's dish. Luca places the pizza's in front of us and nods in dismissal. The other man puts down Rose's dish, smiles and walks back to the kitchen.

We tuck into our food and I smile once I see Romeo enjoying his pizza.
"Good?" I question.
"Good." He confirms.

Luca comes over one last time. "C'è qualcosa con cui posso aiutare?" His voice is gentle. Romeo and Rose both reply with a short "sì". Deciding to copy them, I snap my head towards the waiter.
"Sì!" I exclaim.
"Do you even know what I said?" Luca questions, laughing.
"No. I do not but I just decided to copy my boyfriend and best friend." I emphaise the words 'boyfriend' and 'best friend'.

Luca snarls and gives a sarcastic "Enjoy" and trots back over to the kitchen. Once he's out of sight, the three of us burst into a laughter, again earning glares from surrounding tables.
