I feel my body being jolted and I stir from being awakened.
"What!" I raise my voice.
"We need to go back!" He sounds urgent.

My body flashes and I'm stood up, running my hands through my hair. I'm stressing and grabbing anything I had with me. I make sure my phone is in my pocket and Romeo nods, clearing the area we fell asleep in. We take each step carefully yet running through the quiet streets.

"What time is it?" I pant.
"Half two." He says simply.

My feet hit the ground harshly and we come across a town I'm familiar with. We find ourselves at a junction and we stop, not knowing which way to go. I scan each town name until I read Cheris. I pull at Romeo's hand and lead him to the left. We both recognise the street leading up to both of our houses and we speed up.

"Okay, Chiara. If anyone asks we got McDonalds, took a little walk got tired and fell asleep at mine. Yes?" He turns his body to me.
"Yes. I got it." I nod. Romeo unlocks his door and opens it without a creak. He peeks his head around each side to make sure Rose isn't in.

He motions for me to come in and I follow afterwards. I kick my shoes off and tie my hair into a messy bun. We walk up to Romeo's room and I flop onto his bed. My hands rest over my eyes and take a deep breath.

"That was...." I start.
"Exhilarating" Romeo finishes for me, in a fake british accent. I laugh at his randomness and scoot backwards to lay my head on the pillow.
"You want to sleep in jeans?" He arches an eyebrow. I look down to my jeans and sigh.
"What else am I supposed to we-"

He throws a pair of shorts to me and I hold them against my waist. Inches of fabric hang each side.
"Drawstrings." He points and I nod with a 'very good' look on my face.

I urge myself off the bed and into the bathroom. Taking my jeans off and sliding the shorts on. I pull the strings to fit my waist and smile as they hang a little loose but won't fall down. I open the door and place my folded jeans on a dresser.

Romeo's sat in bed shirtless and texting on his phone. He notices me looking at his phone and he opens his mouth.
"Texting Leo, told him we fell asleep watching a movie at mine and you're still sleeping and I don't want to wake you." He smirks at his lie.
"Oh, ok... Did he believe it?" I murmer.

Romeo holds his hand to his heart, mock offended.
"I'm a great liar thank you!" He whines.
"I don't know if that's a good thing?" I raise an eyebrow. He laughs in reply and pats the space next to him. I lay beside him and lay my head so I can face him.

He kisses me goodnight and I close my eyes, giving him a smile before I fall back to sleep.

-----

I take my phone from the counter and tap on Rose's contact name. I begin to type.

'Get ready. We're going out :)' I send

'Where? With who?'

'Somewhere. Romeo. Hurry up'

I'm waiting for Romeo to finish getting ready as I sit on the bed, watching some sort of game show on the TV. I had already showered and got dressed so I'm just waiting for Romeo and Rose. As I lay my head back on the pillow, I hear the shower water stop. I hear some rattling within the bathroom so I assume he's getting ready.

I stand up and walk over to the door.
"I'm getting food, I'm hungry."
"Okay. I'll be right out."

I make my way downstairs and into the kitchen. Searching around a little, I decide on toast and water. I take a bite from my toast and hear Romeo thudding down the stairs. I look up and he runs a hand through his wet hair. He gives a smile and I do the same. He eyes travel down and land upon my toast.

I raise my eyebrow and he slyly takes a bite from toast. I push his shoulder and scowl.
"Make your own!" I whine. I take my plate with me and move to the other side of the kitchen. Once I take another bite from my toast, the front door opens and Rose struts in.

I jump up from my seat and take her in for a hug. She wraps her arms around me too and we relax in each others hold. Once she pulls away, I see Romeo eating the rest of my toast. He smirks as he notices my face, shocked. I roll my eyes and turn back to Rose.

"Come on. Let's go then. Where are you taking me?" She insists.
"Well we fou-"
"Surprise. Come on." Romeo interupts.

------

We sit on the sand together, watching as each wave rolls in and out. The sun adds a golden glow to our skin and our laughter bounces off the cliffs around us. Rose tells us a story of her at school and I throw my head back snorting at her story.

As we come down from our laughter, Rose's phone starts to ring. Romeo and I turn to Rose, mentally asking her if she's going to answer it
"Who is it?" Romeo asks.
"Marco." Rose's voice is small.
"Marco! Oh my god Rose, you have to answer!" I wiggle my eyebrows.

She rolls her eyes and walks away, her phone to her ear. Romeo and I share a look and begin laughing again. Rose scowls over at us, silently telling us to shut up. Romeo and I hold our laughter back and wait for her to finish on the phone.

Once she hangs up, a huge smile covers her face. Romeo makes a face and Rose shrugs acting as if nothing had even happened. I pull Rose over towards me and I give her a sly look.
"You have to tell me what happened." I demand.
"Marco asked me on a date tonight." She whispers so only I can hear.
"That's amazing!" I squeal.
"What's amazing?" Romeo is close by.
"Nothing."
"Nothing." Rose and I say in unison.

We spend our time a little longer at the bay and whilst on the way back we decide to stop at a restaurant and eat. I get avocado on toast along with a pink lemonade. The waitress places our food and we eat away.

"So Rose. Marco?" Romeo starts."
"No. We aren't talking about him right now. Later." Rose faces back to me and giggles. I giggle along with her and Romeo sighs in frustration
"You guys are annoying." He rolls his eyes.
"You love us." I state.
