We sit in Romeo's bedroom, music playing quietly in the background as we chat to one another. His fingers run through my hair and as I trace his abs. I close my eyes to take in the moment.
"Chiara, you know we've never gone on a date. The two of us." He says smoothly.
"Oh... we haven't?" I really thought we had.

"No... I'll pick you up at 7pm tomorrow." He says with a smirk. He closes his eyes and lays his head on the pillow. "Goodnight Chiara."
"Night Romeo." I close my eyes and his arm drapes over me.

------

It's 3:45pm and I'm watching the clock, waiting for it to hit 4pm so my shift is over. There's not many people here and they don't even speak english. I only served two tables today but Thomas served 8. I guess it's a good community around here and it takes time to get someone new in a local job. I sigh as I see Romeo serving a man and his daughter. Romeo added extra whipped cream to her milk shake and she giggled. He's adorable with kids.

Tapping my nails on the surface, I watch as each second ticks past. Romeo walks back behind the counter and grips my waist. He brings his face to my ear.
"Let's go." His hot breath makes the hairs on my neck stand up.
"But it's only 3:52pm, we finish at 4 Romeo." I retaliate, though I want to finish work.
"So, you have a date to get ready for." He lays two or three kisses on my neck.
"Okay." I whisper.

I sign out of the computer system and Romeo does the same. I hang up my little apron and take my hair out of it's bun. Romeo takes my hand and we practically run out of the cafe. Carmella notices and shouts after us. I turn to Romeo, a look of worry covering my face. I bite my bottom lip waiting for some excuse.

"Scusa Carmella ma abbiamo dei piani!" He exclaims and grips my hand, we start running again. (Sorry Carmella but we have plans!) Carmella shakes her head in mock disapproval yet I know she's joking. Her smile lights up as I turn around and give my best 'sorry' expression. She urges me to go on and I run with Romeo.

Romeo kisses my goodbye and jogs over to his house. I shut the front door and make my way to my bedroom. I take a look at the time on my phone and it's nearly half 4 and Romeo is picking me up at 7. I have 2 and half hours. I know I have time yet I know if I don't start getting ready soon I will overthink it.

I wait for the shower water to heat up and search through my closet. I have no idea what to wear. I don't even know where we are going, restaurant? cinema? Ugh I might as well just get in the shower before he turns up and I look a mess. Grabbing a towel, I lock the door and get into the shower.

I wrap a towel around my hair while I frantically rush around my room trying to find an outfit. My phone dings and I go to check it.

'Dress casual. see u soon'

Okay.... casual. That helps. I grab a a white cami and a pair of blue jeans along with a cardigan since it get's colder at night. I take a look at myself in the mirror. I nod and move to my vanity. Wiping off any makeup from earlier, I made sure to have a clean base. I dab a little cream blush over my cheeks and some mascara. I don't bother with too much since I'm not great at makeup.

I glance over at my phone to see I still have another hour. I was panicking over time yet I still have plenty. I scroll through my phone yet there's nothing to really look at. My instagrams still full of Harry and his minions and I only have Rose and Romeo on snapchat so it's not much use. In the end I decide to text Romeo.

'I'm bored, got ready too early :(' I text.

I wait patiently and he leaves me on read. I throw my phone back on my bed and sit back at my mirror. My hair falls in its natural waves and I comb my fingers through the ends. I lean my back against the end of my bed. I close my eyes, hoping that time will speed up. That is until, I hear tapping on my bedroom window.

My eyes open immediately and I glance at the window. I can't see anything so I assume it's just my imagination playing tricks on me. I flop down on my bed and the tapping continues.
"What!" I shout, though I know my Dad's not home right now.

I storm towards the window and open it. I look down to the gardens and I smile once I see what was the cause of the tapping. My face breaks into a smile and Romeo gives a grin. I point a finger down to signal I will be right at the door. I grab my phone and rush down the stairs. I open the door and move to the side so he can come in.

"You could have walked in you know?" I question.
"I was being a gentleman thank you very much." He smirks.
"You through rocks at my window." I fold my arms and arch an eyebrow.
"It was romantic." He mocks my movement.

I slip some lace ups on my feet and Romeo helps me up by grabbing my arms and pulling me up. I let out a sigh and go on my tip toes to kiss him. His hands grab my hips as our kiss deepens. He eventually pulls away, panting and a sly smirk takes over his face.

"I'm going to take you somewhere very special. I hope you like it!" His smirk disappears.
"Oh, okay." I grin.
"This place means a lot to me. If you don't like it don't tell me. I want to believe that you love it too." My heart deepens as he talks about this place so passionately.
"I'm sure I'll love it!"
