Chiaras POV
Today my Dad had plans to work and I know he felt so bad since it was only my third day here and he couldn't have any time off. I didn't mind it because I still had to get used to my new surroundings. Today I just want to watch Disney and snack of popcorn.
It's not until I had turned around to see Romeo swimming simultaneously around the pool. Suddenly I had an urge to jump in beside him. And I was going to.
I rushed upstairs my put on my new red bikini that I had bought yesterday and I know he would love it. It fit me perfectly and it looked great across my tanned skin. I grabbed a white towel from my bathroom and wrapped it around my body whilst I hopped down the stairs.
Reaching the pool, I felt Romeos eyes follow my every move. I ripped the towel of my body and jumped in, splashing him, before he could say anything to me. My body was fully submerged under the water and I pretended to not breathe. Romeo picked my up quickly and shouted at me for scaring him. The water wasn't even then deep, I mostly likely could never drown in this unless someone was holding me down.
"Sorry hun did I scare you? Oh I'm ever so sorry!" I teased as I swam away smiling to myself.
"You should be. That wasn't fair." He grunted as he heard me laughing to myself.
"Life's not fair." I pulled myself out of the water and I felt his eyes over me. "Hey! Pretty boy! You need you're eyes checked. I'm up here!"This boy really did have a staring issue. He couldn't keep his eyes away from me. I shook my head, in fake disappointment. Instead of going inside as I had initially planned, I decided to lay on the grass. Closing my eyes. Soaking up the sun.
I heard footsteps coming towards me and I opened my eyes to see Romeo hovering over me, blocking the sun.
"Move, you're blocking my sun." I say, kind of harshly.
"What are you doing?"
"Sunbathing. You?"
"Watching you sunbathe"
"Creep"Before I could say anymore, he lay next to me closing his eyes; almost mocking me. Neither of us said anything and I didn't bother to change that. I just continued laying here, enjoying the view. View? Either the landscape or the beautiful boy in front of me. Either one was fine.
He finally broke the silence.
"Hey Chi, do you have any plans for today?"
"Yes." I said shortly and bitterly. He expected me to explain but I decided not too.
"Ok... what are they?"
"Hm? Why you wanna take me out?"
He shot up quickly, quite taken aback from what I just said.
"I- uh no. Later. No. I mean. I just wanted to see if you had any plans, I'm bored that's all."As if. I could tell I was right as soon as shot up.
"Well, Romeo. I'd love to go out-" He cut me off with a "wait really?"
"You didn't let me finish Mr impatient. But I'd rather stay home and watch Disney films."I felt him smile at the idea. Damn. This boy would definitely be sat next to me while I watch and eat rubbish all day.
"Okay. What we watching then?"
"Your choice." I stood up and wrapped myself with the towel I had left my the pool edge and began walking inside the house again. Romeo practically ran after me. I was speedy but he was pretty desperate. I couldn't have any peace in this house.I began walking upstairs, my towel slowly drooping down my body. I didn't bother fixing it. I was nearly at my room anyway. Romeo has picked it up as he followed close behind me. I walked quicker into my room and towards my bathroom. I locked the door and heard Romeo saying something but I pretended that I couldn't hear him. I could very much hear him.
"Sorry what? I can't hear you. My showers too loud."
I overheard him scoff and heard his footsteps reaching further away from me. While I had this time to myself I showered and enjoyed the hot water against my body. It felt nice. It's warmth. It was comforting. Everything here was comforting. As I finished my shower, I changed into a pair of comfy shorts and a loose T-shirt since I wasn't planning out on going anywhere today. I sprayed myself with some Vanilla body spray and tied my hair into a loose bun at the top of my head.
When I was walking down the stairs, the smell of fresh popcorn filled my senses and I saw an array of coloured packets. Romeo had set up a all this just for me. He was so sweet. I could have done this myself. But this was a bit extra. I wouldn't have done all of this for me.
"I didn't know what you liked so I got everything." He was talking about all the candy and sweets in front of me. I loved all of the treats in front of me but I ventured for the basic popcorn. I reached out my hands to pick the bowl up but Romeo brushed them away.
"Let me help. You've already done all this let me do something."
"No."
I didn't care. I wasn't one to follow all the rules so I helped him out anyway. We placed all the snacks on the table in front of us and I eventually wrapped myself up in the blanket; completely forgetting about Romeo. It's wasn't until he spoke I knew that I was a burrito blanket.
"Hello can you not spare some of the blanket for me?"I unravel the blanket from my body and open it up, signalling him to come lay beside me. He happily complied.
We had decided to watch high school musical. His choice. Not mine. I didn't say anything because I loved the high school musicals. A personal favourite.
As the movie was ending, I realised that we had somehow ended up cuddling. Just to be a tease I quoted back to our pool session earlier. I whispered, "about you taking me out. Tomorrow. Meet me at that lunch place we found the other day. 1pm. On the dot."
Before I heard him say something to myself, I had gone to the toilet and cleared myself up and used the bathroom. This was going to be fun.
