Day 10 of 365

Do not try to fix what other people doesn't consider broken.

If you think of something as a flaw, someone out there sees it as a beautiful part of them.

You recommend a product to someone with an intention of concealing their scars, without you knowing, that scar means the world to that person. Maybe that scar reminds them of a special memory. It was special to them.

Now that you've indirectly expressed that you want it to be covered, that person will now think of that scar differently. They will start questioning whether or not the scar should be seen. Maybe it wasn't your intention to make them feel bad, but you somehow did.

What does this taught me?

We shouldn't point out someone else's imperfection.

They've already seen it before we do. There is no point in mentioning it.

We all look at things differently. Some are blinded by hate, some people look at things with nothing but love twinkling in their eyes.

Learn to be sensitive enough to understand others without having to hear their story.

Here's another situation to explain this idea further.

I have dark underarms. I am not proud of it, but I also don't consider it as something that needs to be fixed. I am happy and comfortable with it.

I just don't get why people these days are so bothered with others' bodies or lives, when in fact, they give zero fucks about bigger issues that needs to be addressed.

If it does not harm you or anyone else, let it be.
