Day 7 of 365
We all have moments in our lives that we regret.
Whenever I remember something I regret, I get mad at myself. As if it's a sin to remember.
Now that I come to think of it, I remember what my decision lead to, but I can't recall the exact feeling I felt the moment I made that decision.
If I were to change the past, I wouldn't decide the way I did. Sadly, there's no way to change it.
One or two mistakes does not define you as a person. One withered flower does not make the whole garden ugly.
It's nice that you are able to acknowledge your mistakes, but I hope you don't ever punish yourself for it.
Normalize saying sorry to yourself. Make it a necessity to be kind enough to be able to forgive yourself.
