Day 20 of 365
Claiming you are better than someone else only proves that you aren't.
I am so sick of hearing people preach about something they can't even apply to themselves.
Those ladies who post about women empowerment but proceeds to talking shit about women who doesn't fit with their standards.
Those who talks about equality on their Facebook posts yet still looks down on poor people.
Those who shares inspiring quotes yet manages to step on someone else's dreams.
Dragging others down to lift yourself up won't benefit anyone, not even yourself.
Can we please try to be better?
Since when did strangers stop smiling at each other? Since when did y'all stopped being sincere?
I wish to see more people who genuinely cares for each other, who tries to be better for one another.
What lies beneath your flowery words are the decaying truths.
Kindness shouldn't be skin-deep. You have to feel it in order to be able to pass it on.
I wish you'd practice what you preach.
