May 7, 1999

Stevie was sitting up in bed, reading a magazine. She didn't have to as the doctor had given her the okay to get up and move around to an extent, as she was 22 weeks pregnant without a problem yet. Even her Amnio came back clean. The bedroom door opened and Stevie peered up from the magazine and smiled as she saw Seth in Lindsey's arms bouncing. He was walking now, and he was babbling, no words as of yet, but he was babbling. He was always getting into stuff, mostly Stevie's pots and pans and he loved to bang on them, and he was quite musically gifted, but as of right now he was a percussionist and she knew that Lindsey had plans to turn him.

"Hey, baby." Stevie smiles setting her magazine down on her stomach and holding her arms out for him.

"I have to go to a meeting with Tony, you think you'll be good?" He asks.

"I'll be fine and Karen's coming here for our own meeting so if anything dire were to happen at least she's here, but I'll be fine. I just like this lounging around in bed thing." Stevie shrugs.

"Oh yeah, you hate not doing anything," Lindsey smirks kissing her head.

"But it keeps Seth sedentary and I can't chase him." She states.

"Good Point. Alright, I've gotta get going. I love you." He kisses her properly.

"I love you too." She grins.

"And I love you, little man." Lindsey ruffles Seth's curls causing him to giggle and bounce on Stevie's burgeoning baby bump.

When Karen knocks on Stevie's bedroom door, Stevie is sitting up in bed having changed out of her pajamas into a pair of leggings and a peach springy tunic, rubbing her stomach. Seth was sitting on the bed playing with some of his toys.

"Hey," Stevie smiles.

"Hey, how ya feeling?"

"I'm good. Feeling great, Nausea is gone, tiredness is gone. My hips and back are a little bit sorer during this pregnancy though." Stevie shrugs.

"Gee, I'm sorry. So what did you want to talk about?" Karen questions holding up all of her files.

"Pondering the Millenium." Stevie states.

"What?" She questions.

"I want to do a tour called Pondering the Millenium. I'm due September 6th, but I want this tour to start After Christmas. Like literally the week after Christmas so maybe like the 27th or 28th. And then maybe only go until the second week of January. I just want to stay in California though. Go to Vegas for New Years' and my first wedding anniversary." Stevie shrugs.

"Which is..."

"well it's the fourth, of January," Stevie explains.

"I'll see what I can do...have you thought about promotion and all of that."

"No, but I have this that I want to use," Stevie explains grabbing at a piece of artwork from the floor on her side of the bed.

"That's beautiful...I'll start making some calls right now, do you want me to stay here with you?" She asks.

"Please, but let's move downstairs. I have to make Seth's lunch. And my lunch actually, what do you want?" Stevie inquires.

"What were you making?" Karen smiles.

"We have leftover grilled chicken that I was going to cut up and put in a salad," Stevie explains.

"That actually sounds really good." Karen smiles.

After lunch, they were sitting on the couch and Seth was sitting between them. But he was trying to get his mother's attention. She was looking at some files that Karen had dealing with prices and every other boring shit that came with starting a tour and Seth didn't like it because her attention wasn't on him and he was huffy. The first thing he did was climb onto his mom's lap and then he batted the papers out of her hands.

"Seth no." Stevie scoldedf fixing the file in her hand.

He didn't like that answer so he did it again.

"Seth, No." Stevie said a little firmer.

But he still didn't like that answer so he did it a third time and Stevie sighed.

"Seth Jess, NO." She scolded again and then she took him off of her lap and placed him back on the couch cushion.

And he didn't really like that so he started crying. But while he was crying he was trying to form a word with his mouth and he finally got it to come out. "Mama"

Stevie stopped and Looked up at Karen, because she hadn't heard him talk.

"Mama, Mama, Mama," He repeated through his cries.

"Karen did you hear that?" Stevie asks tears welling in her eyes.

"I think I heard him say Mama," Karen smirks.

"Oh baby, you said Mama." Stevie coos pulling him into her arms and cradling him as close as her belly would allow.

He calmed instantly and sniffled into her neck.

"Can you say it again sweet pea?" Stevie inquires kissing his head.

"Mama." He repeats.

"Yes, I'm Mama. Oh I'm so proud of you...what did you want huh?" Stevie asks.

All he does is just nuzzle into her chest and he lays there staring at Karen, but his little fist coming up and playing with his mother's moon necklace.

"I think he just wanted his Mama's attention." Karen smiles.

"Is that all?" Stevie asks kissing his head again.

His response was "Mama, mama,mama.mama."

When Lindsey got home, Stevie was still sat on the couch, Karen had gone and Seth was asleep.

"Hey Steph, what did you Karen meet about?" Lindsey asks.

"Oh we just talked about the tour I want to go on." Stevie sighs.

"The tour you want to go on?" Lindsey cocks an eyebrow.

"No, I no it sounds bad but it's not trust me. Seven shows, all in California except for the one that's in Vegas on New Years Eve. It would kick off December 28th, at the House of Blues and the same on the 29th. Then we and I say we meaning you too would fly to Vegas for the 31st, we'd have a couple days off in Vegas before I have to be back at the house of blues for the 3rd and the 4th and the last two, the January 8th and 9th in Anaheim. The baby'll be about three months old, I won't be compromising anybodies health." Stevie explains.

"But I'm invited?" Lindsey asks.

"If you want to come, unless you want to stay here with just Seth." Stevie shrugs.

"No we'll come..." Lindsey shakes his head.

"Good, please take him my back hurts and we've been sitting like this for three hours." Stevie explains.

So Lindsey grabs him but it wakes him up and then he realizes that it's not his mother holding him and it happens again, he cries and the words come out mixed in with his sobs. "Mama, Mama."

"Steph..."Lindsey pauses as she shifts to a more comfortable position and takes him back into her arms.

"Yeah, his first word was Mama. I haven't had a chance to write it down yet because we've been...well you saw it." Stevie sighs cradling him close.

"Well, Steph...I think we've got a mama's boy on our hands." Lindsey smirks.

"We better. He looks like you, the least he can do is make me his favorite." She pouts.

"Yeah, but I think this one..." He places his hand on her stomach. "Is going to look exactly like their mother."
