Stevie walked into the studio, Everleigh on her hip, Seth holding onto her coat and in her free hand she had a statue.
"What is that?" Lindsey asks.
"Spirit Catcher." She states.
"Spirit Catcher?" Lindsey inquires.
"Where can we put it?" She questions.
"Well we can put it in your space over here or if you want it to wash out over the entire area maybe we could put it on the mantle." Lindsey places his hand on her back and kisses Everleigh's head.
"On the Mantle, maybe it's been in our house in Pheonix and it's such a lucky piece I thought, you know..." Stevie states.
"It's been in our house in Pheonix?" Lindsey gives a weird glare.
"On the hutch in the sitting room."
'Oh I never go in there, but yay, you're here." Lindsey takes Everleigh from her. Lindsey starts getting Everleigh out of her little coat, and Stevie starts by taking her jacket off and then bending down to take care of Seth's jacket.
"Well I have had no rest," She shakes her head.
"Really?" Lindsey asks.
"You stayed here all night I was up with screaming children. Everleigh had a nightmare and Seth wanted you so they both slept in bed with me...but the good news is I wrote four songs. And just this morning, put them on a CD, so we really were, really trying to make these, it was totally about Fleetwood Mac, it was like you guys weren't there but you were there in fact."
"What you don't know Stevie is that we've spent the last six months trying not to be ourselves." Mick laughs.
"Anything you want before we start?" Lindsey asks.
"Do we have Iced Tea?"
"Peach." Lindsey nods.
"Fine, I'll have some of that." She nods going to take a seat at one of the leather swivel chairs at the mixing board.
When Lindsey returns with her glass he also takes a seat and then he turns to her ready to play the demos, "Really loud."
"Really Loud." She nods.
It took her a minute to realize that there were cameras on her and then she immediately looked at Lindsey with the, we need to talk, look. He got up and motioned to the other room and she followed suit.
"Why is there a camera in the same vicinity as my children?"
"Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you. We're filming this. Mick had the great idea to make it into a documentary and then sell it along with the album." Lindsey shrugs.
"Lindsey, our children..." She trails off.
"I know, and I made them promise that they wouldn't show their faces. If they violate it, they know I will sue them." Lindsey explains.
"I just don't know if I'm comfortable with this." Stevie sighs.
"I know Angel, and I'm sorry. I wasn't at first either, but I kind of forgot about them." Lindsey shrugs.
"Alright, let's get back to work." She sighs.
As the night goes on and the kids end up falling asleep on the couch not being filmed, Stevie makes her departure known and Lindsey follows suit. When they get home they just look at each other and she wraps her arms around his waist.
"Let's not bring the studio home this time."
"Alright." He agrees.

The morning of their label meeting had arrived, The prospect of their label meeting was to see who they'd sign with. Who wanted their songs more. It was early in the morning, and Stevie had Seth in her arms. He was still three and though it was harder for her to carry him, he still tended to have his mommy days and this was one of them, so he was straddling her hips, his arms around her neck and she had her arms hooked under his bottom and she was swaying back and forth with him as Lindsey went over the plans for that day.
"I don't know, I think with those kind of people, I don't think you could play them five hours of music before they start to sink into the couch." Stevie shakes her head.
"The range of material I have to offer certainly represents where this album could be seen in terms of style if it's going to be a conservative style if we're going to play it safe if we're going to go out there and really redefine ourselves in the most credible way possible, I don't think it makes a lot of sense to try to limit what he is hearing," Lindsey explains.
"Well, I would've only said that you might want to limit it because this is only the first time we've ever met." She walks Seth to the other room where Everleigh is playing with Karen.
"Well let's see what happens if he's coming over here wanting to hear music then that's the basic premise." The phone rings and he goes to pick it up. "Than we should play him music that's his job."
Four hours into the demos Stevie's children had fallen asleep and she was falling asleep but she was sitting between the Warner Execs, signing along.
"How's that?" The one with a white ponytail asks, "That puts a smile on your face."
"How' that commercial, I prayed to the commercial gods." Stevie jumps in.
"And the gods delivered." The exec agrees.
"So how do you figure out..." The exec trails off.
"What makes it on the album?" Lindsey asks holding his hands up in the air waving in an iffy hand gesture.
"Because that's not going to be easy." The exec shakes his head.
"I'll figure it out." Lindsey nods.
"Alright well thank you thank you." Stevie smiles.
"Pleasure."
"Thank you for coming?" Lindsey stands up and shakes his hand.
"Take a little rest now.' Stevie adds.
After everyone left they were all just sitting there in silence staring at each other.
"What now?" Mick asks.
"I don't know...I'm going to listen to these demos again." Lindsey sighs holding up Stevie's tape.
"Yeah, I want to work on some bass parts." John nods.
"I've gotta get my babies into bed." Stevie stands up pointing to her two sleeping kids.
