Their tour schedule was odd having to tour in the fall especially for John's health reasons. They wanted to make sure he was fully in remission and healthy before they went out, but they were making an exception this weekend because they were in New York and it was a Thursday so they pulled the children out of school Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. There was no school on Monday because of a teacher workshop so when Fleetwood Mac headed to Pittsburg they'd be going back to California.

Usually, they have suites but the Today Show put them up at a hotel close to the studio and they apologized profusely when they couldn't get them suites because the hotel was otherwise booked but Lindsey kinda liked it because he and Stevie took the bed by the bathroom and even thought at 15 and 16 the children certainly SHOULD NOT Be sharing a bed they were and it made him feel closer to his family in a lot of ways even watching a movie together the night before but the alarm clock went off at three thirty in the morning and three groans echoed throughout the hotel room. The three groans being Seth, Everleigh, and Stevie.

"Oh come on it's going to be fun you guys get to come to see rehearsals and the taping of the show." Lindsey cheers.

"No, no it won't be fun." Everleigh whines crawling out of bed and then crawling in bed with Stevie snuggling up against her mother's chest.

"No baby, I have to shower first Eliza'll be here at Jesus Fuck, 4:30." Stevie whines squeezing her daughter before easing out of bed herself wincing at the pain in her hips and back. She was getting old and she hated every single bit of it.

At rehearsal Stevie is miserable. She's wearing a black peacoat black pants and a black cashmere scarf and sweater she started out the day with two black leather gloves on her hand but she really couldn't play the Tamborine with a gloved hand because it kept slipping.

They were just about to go into Go Your Own Way and it was dead silent save for the chatter coming from the people that were actually in time square at 5:30 in the morning for sound check. Stevie was going to say something when Lindsey loudly into the mic stated.

"GET YOU ASS UP HERE!" the crowd was confused at first but Stevie knew just by the timber in his voice that he was talking to their children and because he couldn't physically go down there and scold them.

The tried to get to the stage but the security guard stopped them and Lindsey got even angrier, "NO LET THOSE TWO UP HERE!"

The guard obliged and slowly Everleigh and Seth made their way up on stage in front of everyone and Stevie started to panic because she did not want her children's faces on camera and there were a whole bunch of people filming their sound check. Stevie slowly made her way over to Lindsey and peered over his shoulder as he started laying into their children.

"You two need to seriously behave. Seth stop messing with your sister I don't need to take either of you to the hospital this morning." Lindsey growls.

"But daddy, he was poking me."

"I know, I was watching but that gave you no right to push him into the street like that." Lindsey tells her.

"But he's a pain and I hate him."

"Hey, Hey...stop making a scene all three of you. Everleigh, go stand with Aunt Lori and Sharon and I don't know, sing back up if you have to. Seth go back down by Karen." Stevie puts her hand on Lindsey's chest slightly pushing him back.

"But mom he was..." Everleigh starts to whine.

"I don't care. Go." She points with the hand holding the Tamborine and the kids oblige going to their separate corners.
