February 23, 2014

Stevie had seriously cleaned her house and laid out all of Christine's pianos. When she quit in 1997, she told the band they could sell them but a very emotional and a very pregnant Stevie put her foot down and said NO, Lindsey and I will be keeping them in storage so that's exactly what they did. But now they were standing in the entry way Karen was giving the cameramen and Carson Dailey their NDAs and so on and so forth and it was almost as soon as everything was signed Everleigh came plowing down the stairs.

"I thought you were supposed to stay in your room." Lindsey crosses his arms looking at their youngest.

"I need mom's wedding ring."

"Why do you need my wedding ring?" Stevie cocks an eyebrow.

"No reason," She smiles a wicked grin.

"Well I'm not going to give you my wedding ring unless you give me a reason." Stevie sighs.

"Dad give me your wedding ring." Seth hops down the stairs as well.

"Why? Why do you want our wedding rings?" Lindsey questions as the rest of the band and the crew and Carson watch on.

"We are going to do something that you don't get to know about." Seth grins picking up his mother's hand and sliding her wedding rings off of her finger and Lindsey's off of his.

"They're up to something Steph." Lindsey sighs.

"I know..." She crosses her arms as they open the coat closet and pull out their coats.

"And where are you going?" Stevie inquires.

"Ray's taking us out for the afternoon. By mom I Love you." Seth says hugging his mom and kissing her cheek.

"Bye daddy. I Love you." Everleigh cheers wrapping her arms tightly around Lindsey.

"Don't lose our wedding rings." Lindsey warns them.

"Wouldn't dream of it." Seth smiles as a horn honks outside.

"We just let them walk out of here with about 14,600.00 dollars worth of jewelry." She winces.

"They'll protect them with their lives...I hope." Lindsey sighs.

"15,000 dollars for your wedding rings? What?" Carson asks.

"Lindsey's is 18 karat white gold it was about six hundred dollars." Stevie needs.

"Stevie's rings are both 24 karat gold. Her wedding band that she wears all of the time is just plain 24 karat gold, that was about 2 thousand dollars. He engagement ring was custom I used the best quality diamonds, it's also 24 karat gold so that's why they were so expensive." Lindsey explains.

"Well we should probably ignore it and do this interview huh? I had Lindsey set up the family room." Stevie points to the room with the red furniture.

Once they're all  set up Carson does a quick introduction and then he goes into the questions.

"So why did you stop touring Christine?" Carson asks.

"I had a fear of flying."

"Really?" He asks.

"This is the first time I've flown in fifteen years." She explains.

"She had us all seriously convinced that she wasn't coming back." Stevie nods.

"You performed with them in London on the last Fleetwood Mac tour, what was it like walking back on stage with them after so long?"
