April 25, 2001

Coming into 2001 was interesting, to say the least. Lindsey had officially started looking into renting a space for the recording of Fleetwood Mac's next studio album and Karen was working diligently on getting not only her tour figured out but her benefit concert as well. Their children were doing well, growing and becoming their own people and Stevie couldn't be happier. Seth is 2 turning three in a few short months. He's the embodiment of Lindsey. He's athletic always running around and he loves to be in the pool. His favorite activity though is playing with his little toy guitar that Lindsey bought him and Stevie knows that it makes Lindsey's heart swell in the sense that his son is turning out like him.

Everleigh, at one turning two, is the sweetest little girl. She doesn't cause much trouble, she always likes to pick the flowers in the back yard and she runs up to Stevie and hands them to her with the biggest smile on her face. She's the spitting image of her mother right down to her eyes and Stevie loves the fact that her kids look exactly like the parent of the same sex. But it just boils down to Genetics being funny that way. But Everleigh is Buckingham...Seth loves his sister dearly but sometimes he just pushes her too far and she'll let out a really loud ear piercing scream and then she'll throw a temper tantrum...meaning she has Lindsey's temperament but when she screams Lindsey and Stevie know that it's time to separate their kids.

Stevie had made Spaghettios for lunch, she and Lindsey had salad but their children had spaghettios and Seth was still eating his when Karen came walking into the kitchen. Stevie had Everleigh on her hip as she was wiping down the kitchen table. They were both in booster seats at the table now instead of High Chairs so their kitchen table was always substantially messy.

"Hey, how's everything going?" Stevie asks.

"Good you are all set to head out on July 5th, but I didn't know if these cuties were coming along or not," Karen explains.

"No, they're staying here with Lindsey. I thought about it, but Lindsey can't come on tour with me this time as he's working in the studio and I can't take care of them while I'm on stage and I'm not hiring help. These are my kids and they are to be raised by their parents." Stevie shakes her head kissing Everleigh's blonde waves. Stevie's hair is straight and Lindsey's is curly. Everleigh has a weird mixture. It depends on how her hair dries and how she sleeps. Some days it'll be straight as a pin other days she'll have little blonde curls. Today she has little blonde curls and they're pulled back in a set of pigtails.

"Also, The girls from exceptional women want to know if we're doing that interview at their set or here at the house." Karen sighs.

"You are insane if you think I'm going to let those women into my house especially because the interview is tomorrow...literally step foot in my living room right now." Stevie points.

Karen does as she's told and Stevie follows her. The living room doesn't have a TV in it, it's more of a sitting/interviewing room but there are toddler toys sprawled everywhere.

"Okay, little messy." She nods.

"Mhm, into the TV room." She points down the hall. This room isn't as bad, save for Lindsey who has the TV on some stupid sitcom and he's snoring on the couch. But there are some blocks in the middle of the floor and a little dollhouse that has doll stuff spilling out of it.

"Okay, so you have a point..." Karen trails off.

"Right so call her back and tell her at her studio." Stevie sighs.

"Will do boss." Karen nods.

"Momma Potty, Momma potty," Seth calls. She and Lindsey started potty training him when he turned two and when Everleigh turns two she'll be potty trained as well.
