everyone was on the edge of their seats as they pulled up to the certain place that yunwong had found the address to. it was a harbor with a small shop that let you rent and buy certain boats and even yachts from what it seemed.
namjoon and the rest of bts had already arrived, speaking to the man who took care of the boat rentals.
"the man isn't letting us rent a boat. reckon he's working for treaties." hoseok sighed, walking towards where everyone else was gathering.
"that's it!" a scream could be heard before poor mark was slammed onto the side of one of the vans. everyone diverted their attention to the noise, looking over to where mark now stood with wide eyes and a panicked expression.
"this is all your fault! if you hadn't have tried so hard to be friends with her we wouldn't be here right now! i hate you so much!" beomgyu shouted at the older, tears forming in his eyes. "freya is like our older sister and you and your goons were supposed to help us but all you did was cause us to lose her!"
everyone was shocked to say the less, taehyung being the only one to think to step forward and pull beomgyu off of mark.
"get her back! i want her back! please." the younger boy struggled in taehyungs arms, tears streaming down his face.
he was right, these boys really did see freya as an older sister, she practically raised them when their parents couldn't. even yeonjun had began to call her mum at some point.
they had all grown so fond of her, even if she was a bit cold and blunt and hated skin ship, she was still a human being and could be really fun to be around at many points.
therefore losing her to the enemy would be like losing your parent or close family member. they could only guess how jin and taehyung feel right now, the two being her actual blood family. along with seungmin and lola.
beomgyu was usually not one to show many of his emotions at random times, so to see him lashing out like this on mark was new.
although mark on the other hand felt horrible. sure he'd felt bad for people before, worrying about his members and fanily. but this was kim freya, the girl he slowly but surely fell for and hard.
she had so many people behind her, so many people that loved her more then anything yet she didn't seem to think that. it was heart clenching thinking about what could happen.
the realization of everything hit him all too fast. freya has a fear of water, very bad fear of water. they took her out on a boat. how could they be so cruel?
he knew freya was strong and well trained but that small thing could make everything just so much harder.
they watched as mark stayed up against the car, his breathing becoming irregular as tears began to brim his doe eyes.
he felt as if the walls were closing in on him, even if they were outside. it was uncomfortable, he started to breathe even faster, startling everyone that had been standing around him.
his heart swelled up, making it harder and harder to breathe. suddenly everything went blurry due to his tears as he darted his eyes everywhere on the ground.
"he's having a panic attack." yunwong was the first to notice, eyes widening. "mark, mark please breathe." she began to take small steps towards the older.
how could he breathe when possibly freya wasnt? "mark its not your fault. everyone's just on edge right now. i promise we'll get her back." the soft sound of jins voice was louder then all the commotion, causing mark to momentarily freeze.
he looked up at seungmin through red teary eyes and that was all he needed for reassurance.
