freya sighed as she walked out of her rooms personal bathroom, pulling a hand through her hair and deciding to pull it up into a ponytail. she usually didn't do high ponytails but right now it would have to suffice.
she was about to plop in her bed and try to fall back asleep after a very tiring breakfast with everyone but a knock on her door caused her to change her direction with a slight groan.
slowly but surely she walked to open it finding mark who was standing there and rubbing his hands together in front of him with a nervous font.
she could only think of one reason he looked like that; earlier when they took a separate elevator from chenle and jisung, mark had stumbled over his own foot forcing the two into very close proximity for a minute while they processed everything that was happening.
but alas neither of them broke eye contact, well except for mark whos eyes had fallen to the girls lips but quickly made their way back up to her eyes. and in no time the doors to the elevator from the garage level had opened, snapping the two out of their tense stare off.
"just came to say uh, breakfast was good. um, i didn't know you could cook like that..." he said awkwardly, scratching the back of his neck. freya raised a brow, leaning against the doorframe.
"thanks, my mom taught me." she said monotoned, eyeing the males feverish state. "you okay?" his eyes finally met hers. they held eye contact for a few minutes and if anyone were to walk past the two in the hallway would think they were having a very intense staring contest.
"freya..." mark mumbled, eyes flickering all over the girls bare face. "yes mark?" she asked quite lowly, almost laughing when marks eyes obviously landed on her lips again. "oh yeah i was gonna give you your hoodie back." she realized, turning to walk back into the room.
but mark caught her wrist before she could, softly pulling her back towards him and allowing his lips to crash on hers with caution.
truthfully, she wasn't too surprised this was happening. he'd been eyeing her lips ever since the elevator, it was no wonder. what did surprise her however, was the fact that he actually had the balls to go through with it.
after a few seconds of freya standing there in minor surprise, he pulled away, regretting every life choice he had ever made. maybe the earth would just open and swallow him whole so he never had to see another person again.
not even he could explain as to why he felt so... so.... he needed to kiss her. it was like when you really want to make a new friend so you do it or you really want to ask someone to be your significant other so you do it.
it hadn't just been since the elevator scene, there were many times where mark felt like he had to kiss her on the spot. kiss her, hug her, make sure she's okay, look for her when she's not around, wish that she'd only ever talk to him.
he could never really understand why he felt that way, especially when he felt possessive when she'd do as much as touch other members so slightly. it just made his blood boil for absolutely no reason at all.
"s-sorry i just-"
"mark."
"and i don't know why i did that and-"
"mark."
"i'm so sorry i made it werid-"
"lee minhyung."
"i'll let you slee-"the older was cut off by a soft pair of lips attaching to his. his eyes widened, the feeling of freyas cold hands meeting the back of his neck sending a shiver down his spine. he practically melted, kissing back quickly.
the two moved in sync, separating only when they needed to. freyas arms had rested lazily on marks shoulders and marks hands were resting lightly on her hips. mindlessly, they began to move backwards until freyas back hit the desk on the other side of the room.
with grace, she was lifted onto the thankfully clear surface. the two didnt separate at all, the only thing that was heard being their short breaths and the sound of their lips moving together.
"not a word about this lee." the younger breathed out, threading her hands through his light brown hair. "not a word...."
