"Oh, we are bringing masks into this as well?" You asked, picking up one of the masks of the couple Hermione had placed on her bed.

"It was my idea. It gives it a more mysterious vibe, doesn't it?" She said excitedly. You smiled and shook your head, placing the mask down on the bed.

You then moved to your trunk where most of your things were in. "I don't know how I'll go to the ball without a dress." You said, sighing heavily.

You turned around to face Hermione, who had a grin on her lips. "You know, there is this particular spell I know that can turn any clothing into a dress." She said, pulling her wand out.

"Really? That's crazy. How can you turn a shirt into a dress with a spell that probably doesn't exis-" You cut yourself off when she cast the spell on a shirt you had laying on your bed, quickly turning it into a dress.

It was even better because the dress fit your taste. "You have got to be kidding me." You muttered in disbelief. After picking up the dress, you gasped, "Hermione, this is gorgeous!" You exclaimed.

"Fred is completely going to love you in that dress. You'll look gorgeous." Hermione said, winking at you as she put her wand away. "You, definitely, have a taste." You said, giggling softly.

After a while, you got ready, fixing your hair in a cute and formal bun. You pulled a few strands out, sighing at the sight of yourself in the mirror. "You look great," Hermione said.

You looked back at her, seeing the red gown she was wearing. "You look beautiful." You said, sharing a giggle with her.

"Ready?" You asked. She nodded in response, taking one of the masks and handing it to you. "Never been more ready." You sighed.

The doors opened to the Great Hall, your eyes widening underneath the mask at how beautiful it was all decorated.

The pink and Blue colored cloth fell from the ceiling, the candles flew low so they wouldn't burn the cloth, the tables were decorated in beautiful spring colors and the food table was full to the top.

You smiled widely and scoffed softly at how everything was decorated, turning to Hermione and grabbing her hand softly.

"Hermione, this is amazing." You said. "Don't thank me, thank him," Hermione replied, pointing down the path to a male standing there.

You instantly recognized it was Fred due to how handsome, tall and his ginger hair looked. You smiled widely, walking down the red path that was decorated with petals.

"Hey." You said once you reached there. "Hey, Y/n... You look... Gorgeous." He said, smiling widely at you. You smiled back, looking down in shyness.

"So, shall we?" He asked. He offered his arm to you, and without hesitation, you took it, walking off to the table with drinks and food.

He took two cups of whatever was there to drink and handed one to you. You sipped some of the drink, a strong taste of pumpkin filling your senses.

"Ooh, that's a strong taste of pumpkin." You said, coughing slightly as Fred laughed, taking a sip of his drink. "Yeah, it catches you off guard at first." He replied.

"This drink was made with the pumpkins Hagrid grew in his garden." He said, shaking the cup in his hand as he said so.

You looked around with a smile, glancing at everyone who was there. You waved to Hermione when she saw you as she was with Harry and Ron.

Then, your eyes fell upon a tall boy, his blonde hair already giving out who he was. His eyes were staring deep into yours, his fingers playing with the cup in his hand.

You took Fred's hand, smiling softly. "Let's dance." You said. You placed your cups down and walked to the dance floor where some students were dancing.

His hands gently rested on your hips as you wrapped your arms around his neck, pulling each other closer. You smiled up at him shyly, your cheeks turning slightly pink.

"You're a great dancer." He muttered close to your ear, making you giggle. "We are just going side to side." You replied, making him chuckle.

You kept dancing for a while, a couple of songs after, you decided to go out to breathe some fresh air. "Oh, hey. Didn't think you'd be here." You said softly.

You took your mask off as you walked to stand beside Draco on the balcony. You leaned on the edge, sighing softly.

"How are things going? Doing good with Pansy?" You asked. You glanced at him when he scoffed, taking his mask off.

"What do you think you are doing?" He asked rudely. You widened your eyes, turning to face him. "I-uh... I'm trying to start a conversation with you." You replied.

"No, what I mean is, why are you acting as if everything is fine between us?" He said, walking closer to you. You took a step back, "What?"

"The day before you leave, you say all that stuff to me and you kiss me. 3 years go through and you come back out of nowhere, acting as if we are best friends."

You kept backing away as he walked closer to you, finally pressing your back to the wall. "Look, you didn't write me once-"

You were cut off by his lips slamming on yours, causing you to widen your eyes as he did. Your hands then went to his cheeks, your eyes closing as you kissed him back.

His hands rested on your lower back and back of the head, turning the kiss sweeter.
