They have to be here soon. You knew they were going to be near soon. You just had to be patient and wait. Draco and the Weasley twins were there with you, hidden in one of the classrooms that was closed for the day.

"They should be here any minute." You whispered to Draco. They had sent you an owl discreetly to warn you so you could head to Hogwarts before everyone saw you heading in and the students had classes to attend.

"Any minute," Fred said, Geroge nodding his head as they watched you pace around the room nervously. "This is so horrible. My anxiety is through the roof right now." Right on time that you said that, the door to the classroom flew open, revealing Ron, Harry, Hermione, and Ginny.

Neville and some other Gryffindors soon joined in behind them. Harry and Hermione smiled widely at you, but it soon disappeared the moment they noticed Draco there. "What is he doing here?" Harry asked softly. Anger was slightly clear in his voice but he tried to stay calm.

"He is here to help, he means no harm-" You were cut off by Draco placing his hand on your arm, nodding his head before heading to stand in front of Harry. "I know we have had our arguments and bad moments." He began.

"You know perfectly well we have, Malfoy." Harry spat back, glaring a bit at Draco. He lowered his head a bit, ashamed. He knew Harry wouldn't be nice to him, none of them would.

"I know. That's why I want you to join forces with me. We can take him down together." He said. "I want to be on the good side. I want to have a choice for once and take the right one." He looked back up at Harry, glancing after at Hermione and Ron, then Neville, and then looked at you behind him.

You smiled, proud that he finally said what he had been wanting to say for a while now. "I want us to give each other a chance to build a proper friendship, and not what my father has made us become." He said, turning back to Harry.

Harry thought for a bit, looking at Hermione before glancing back at you and then Draco. "Fine, Draco. We give you a chance only because you and Y/n trust each other. Mostly because Y/n trusts you." He replied, calling Draco by his name.

They surprisingly hugged each other, although it was a bit awkward, you could see a potential friendship starting to grow already. "Okay, we found where the next Horcrux. But we need to get ready, Voldemort is coming." Harry said quickly, looking at you deeply.

"Got it. We will get ready." You said.

{1 hour later}

"HELP!!" You screamed from underneath some rubble. It was finally here. The battle had begun. And it had a bad start for you. As you were fighting some death eaters, one of them had the brilliant idea to shoot the ceiling with Bombarda and it collapsed on you.

"Please... Help me..." You whimpered. Before it collapsed, you managed to cast Protego but some still got on you. You were breathing in dust and slowly suffocating because of it. You were wearing a scarf that you had taken off so that the death eaters wouldn't recognize you when you came face to face with them.

"Y/n?" You heard some say your name. "Seamus! Over here!" You screamed, instantly recognizing the voice. "Oh my- Let me help you!" He said quickly after he made his way to you, noticing your slightly pale and bruised face.

"Wingardium leviosa." He cast, parts of the rubble lifting off that left you enough space to crawl out from underneath it. You sighed in relief, getting up with his help. "Episkey." He whispered, his wand pointed at your chest.

You smiled mischievously at him, "You're getting better, I didn't blow up." You teased, sharing a quick chuckle. But the moment was soon broken when a huge explosion nearby tumbled against the walls, fire visible from where you were standing.

"Oh my god. Harry found it!" You exclaimed, quickly running off to them. Draco was also there. And so were Crabbe and some other guy. "Go! Leave." Draco screamed at Crabbe, watching the two leave quickly, stumbling away.

"We found it," Harry said, panting heavily as he showed you the tiara. Ron handed him one of the Basilisk fangs, Harry stabbing it into the diadem. Ron was quick to quick it the moment a high-pitched scream left it, Voldemort's face erupting into the flames inside the room before the doors closed.

Draco panted slightly, looking at Harry. "Thank you for not letting me burn in there. I really... appreciate it." He said. Harry looked at him as he felt a slight pain on his mark on his forehead, nodding his head.

"You're welcome, I guess." He said, nodding his head.
