It was the middle of the night, your wand in hand as you sat on the ground by your bed. "Lumos." You whispered.

The wand lit up at the end as you opened your book and began reading it. It was one of the books from your year at Hogwarts.

There were spells you hadn't tried still or had managed to study. You placed a feather on the floor, moving your wand to it. "Incendio." You cast.

You jumped when the feather went up in flames, your eyes widening as you quickly blew on it to put it off. It was your first try and you had managed to do it.

You looked in shock at your hand, giggling quietly. "Wingardium Leviosa." You whispered, managing to lift the burned feather in the air.

You glanced at the window when you heard wings fluttering in the distance. "Luna." You said excitedly. You opened the window and let her in, a few letters in her mouth.

You took them and gave her a treat. "Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley, and Harry Potter." You sighed when no letter had come from Draco.

"No letter from Malfoy, huh?" You said in sadness, glancing at the owl. The owl simply bowed it's head, closing its eyes.

You opened Hermione's letter, smiling at the handwriting.

'Dear Y/n,

I couldn't wait to write in a few days so I do it now. I just wanted to make sure this letter reaches you. How are things? We learned Professor Snape had gone to your house. He is constantly looking at us and keeping an eye on us. The other day, he even pulled Malfoy to one side and angrily muttered something to him while Malfoy simply spat back angrily as well. I don't know what is going on between those two but it's definitely nothing good. Harry is constantly talking about you and saying how much he misses you. The twins are also saying how much they used to have fun while making pranks with you to others. I miss you too. I hope I get your letter soon.

With love,
Hermione Granger.'

You smiled softly, shaking your head as you closed the letter. With a sad smile, you moved to Harry's, opening it too.

'Dear Y/n,

How are you? It feels so empty around here when you're not around. I remember how every morning, you would get ready first, and then with Hermione, you would wake us up. Your ways of waking me up have always been effective and I miss those days. Every morning I wake up thinking you would enter the dorms and jump on my bed, ready to wake me up, but it's just Hermione waking Ron up. I hope everything is well, I truly miss your presence.

Harry Potter.'

"I miss you too, Harry. I miss you too." You whispered. You carefully folded the letter back up and opened Ron's, laughing at the tiny letter he had written.

'Hello, Y/n.

Hermione is forcing me to do this. I was already going to write you something but she forced me to do it earlier. I hope everything is well, my brothers and I miss you. Hopefully, we'll see you again soon.

Ron Weasley.'

You folded the letter and put it away with the others, hiding them underneath the mattress. You took a piece of parchment and took your quill as well, beginning to write the letter to all of them.

You folded it once you were done, placing it into an envelope. You wrote Hermione's name and Hogwarts, giving it to Luna.

"Send it to them, okay? Make sure it reaches to them." You said, caressing Luna's head. She flapped her wings, standing by your window.

With a silent coo, she flew away towards Hogwarts, making you smile sadly. "I miss you..." You whispered, preparing to go to bed.

"Mother! Where are you?" You exclaimed when you didn't see her anywhere. You walked down the stairs.

Your hair was long, you had become more beautiful. You were 16 years old, a full-grown teenager. The natural beauty you had was blinding.

Throughout the years, the trio had been writing you and you had been writing back. They came a few times to have dinner at your house when they were on vacation.

"I'm in here." She called out back, guiding you back to your room. When you went inside, you saw she was packing your Hogwarts trunk, making you confused.

"Mother, what are you doing?" You asked, walking to her side. She sighed softly as she saw the countless letters you had gathered from the last 3 years where you had been writing the trio.

She looked up at you, a sad smile on her lips. She took your hands in hers, tears growing in her eyes.

"I-It's time... You're going back." She said, handing you a Hogwarts letter directed to you.
